We've heard some horror stories about people getting mice into their motorhome while it was stored over the winter. The mice have then chewed up electrical wiring and other things, so that the car does not work ...
5 tips for avoiding mice in your motorhome
The latest issue of Caravan & Camping presents a number of suggestions on how to avoid mice. Not least because, according to the article, damage caused by mice is not covered by insurance. Have you tried any of the following tips, or do you have suggestions for other methods?

- New electronic devices with resonance and ultrasound, i.e. sounds that scare mice but are not audible to humans.
- A farmer's cat roaming around ...

hello
Thank you for posting in my blog. Have with good experience tried electric ultrasonic scarer in the basement (but do not want to remove it so it will be free for the little rascals) poison is excluded due to other animals. So now it is the usual honest traps and yellow onions until a new battery-powered ultrasonic scarer is purchased. But how disgusting those creatures are...the hunt continues...?

Hey, hey, hey, hey.
I've tried most things to get rid of mice in my motorhome, but I've failed with most of them. Apparently, chopped onions are supposed to scare the mice like the plague, but not so! When I got into the motorhome, they had eaten large parts of the onion. What I have noticed that has worked best is not having any heat in the motorhome. When I have not had it, I have avoided getting mice in the car.
p.s thanks for a great motorhome blog! d.s

Thanks for more tips on mice. Have tried most of them and have now bought a Motaväck and of course hope that the mice will be insanely scared. We especially want the mouse that Hasse saw traces of this evening to be scared.

You should try ultrasound, it has worked for me so I don't have to clean up mouse poo in the spring: http://www.skadedjursbekampning.nu/produkt/Ratt-och-Musskramma-
