Now we are in Limhamn with the motorhome. Finally we are on our way to Poland! Peter worked a few hours this morning and then we had to refuel, eat and fill up on water ... When we finally got away, we could not go further than Nyköping before we needed a sleep break. But then we woke up and continued towards Skåne!
Where is the car park in Limhamn?
In the end, we arrived in Skåne and Limhamn in Malmö. We had read that there would be a caravan park in the marina here. But where? We drove back and forth in the harbour, but found no signs for motorhome sites.
We drove out to a pier where we saw another motorhome parked and parked there. Here we had no service, but we still stood well in parking spaces along the length, with a nice view of the water.
Update: Since we wrote this post, the marina in Limhamn has updated its website. There should be a whole bunch of campervan sites, and they are clearly marked on the website. marina page. There you will also find more information on services and prices.
Sunset in Limhamn
After a while, dusk crept over us in Limhamn. Before the sun set over the sea, it coloured the sky an intense orange, and we couldn't resist taking some photos.
Fireworks
After a little while, the promenade started to fill up with people: by car, moped, bicycle, bike, inline skates, on foot... it felt like the whole of Malmö was here! And then they started looking out towards the water and the Öresund Bridge. What was going on? Well, fireworks over the bridge!
Ninny says:
But how cool, you were almost in the front row!
Fine.

Read in the newspaper that there would be a 10-year celebration of the Öresund Bridge at about the same time as the fireworks crackled across the strait. Arrived by late train from Gothenburg and was not home until just before eleven. Next time you pass by, just give me a call, the distances are so small down here. Enjoy the warm summer!!!

What a mess! I love fireworks. The environment, I know - but reason doesn't listen to that ear! Hope you have more surprises! 🙂

I hope you have a nice trip to Poland.
See that you are there now.
Have actually driven in Poland 5 years ago, study/work trip.
Our Polish colleague taught us that you should park in fenced, guarded car parks, as there is a lot of theft there.
Saw Malbork Castle, in the town of the same name.
Cool.
Enjoy!

Ninni, yes, we really got a front row seat! Although it took a while before we realised what we were going to see....
😉
Johanna, yes we'll call you on the way back! We were close, but we had so little time. And did not get down to Malmö until eleven in the evening. Just in time for the fireworks
😉
Rondine, we'll probably be in campsites all the time at night. But it's cheap here, so it's easy. But of course, you have to think about whether to park somewhere during the day, maybe not just anywhere, but with a little common sense, we hope it goes well!
