The most affordable big cities were: 1) Copenhagen, 2) Berlin, 3) London, 4) Dublin and 5) Singapore. Rome. Our tips are Budapest or Kiev. Which major European city do you find interesting and affordable?

1. Lisbon
2. Oporto
3. Budapest
These 3 cities are affordable, interesting, exciting and cosy to visit.
Moreover, the food in these 3 cities is marvellous !

I think Prague is incredibly affordable, cheap and good to live 🙂 Just like Budapest. Then I like Rome, London, Paris etc, but it's not as affordable 🙂.

Spider girl, yes Prague is worth mentioning. We had impatient 14-year-olds with us when we were there, but in other circumstances I believe in the city!
Agneta, many people seem to like Budapest! And yes, you shouldn't forget the nearby cities!
