You may remember that we were going to demolish the top room of the houseboat (the living room) and build a new one? Step one in such a project is demolition ... This is what it looks like when you demolish part of a houseboat!
When demolishing a houseboat
It seems a bit absurd to demolish the entire upper floor of the houseboat, but it is necessary to build a new one. Besides wanting to make the upstairs bigger, there were many other problems. There was hardly any insulation, the windows were single-glazed and there was a bit of wind here and there where it wasn't even tight between the planks. Time to demolish simply!

Ugh, what a job, I don't envy you, and certainly not in the heat that is/was 🙂.
But as always, it's so much better when it's done.
I think it's exciting.

Work and more work! But it will be great when you are done. Supportive thoughts to you.
And you have a sea view during the work... Always something.

Ditte, we do have a sea view, and that's never a bad thing!
🙂
BP, right now it's a bit more work than we like, but it's stupid to cancel now, so just keep going!
