We've shown pictures of what our houseboat looks like now, and we know it's a bit hard to remember what it looked like before. Even we have trouble remembering! So here are two before and after pictures ...
Very funny that you show before and after pictures. Then you really see how everything was before and how nice your houseboat has become now. Wow what you have worked and been skilled. It became super nice and you can be super proud:))
We are both full of admiration - that you have managed this huge transformation while doing your PhD and living in a campervan in the meantime - well, we are at a loss for words...!!!!
Truly "total make over"! How nice she is! Boats are usually ladies... What a job you have done and what a trip, even if the second trip with the motorhome Freedom has not yet started. You can travel in different ways.
Wow, what a difference. Always fun to pick out "before and after pictures". Both to be reminded of the difference, but also as a pat on the back for a job well done.
What a difference, thanks for refreshing my memory, I had really forgotten, but it was cool looking then too, liked the crescent shaped entrance hat 😉.
Luxury villa on the water! You can see how good it can be when you go off the rails and don't think so traditionally. Did it go well with the "balance"
Goodbye

Annelie, thank you! Glad you're following us! I stopped following your blog because it suddenly required a password...?
Steve, yes, it can be nice to feel like you've done a good job.
Lennart, yes, you almost have to look at the hull to see that it is actually the same boat...
😉
Johanna, thank you, yes there has been a difference!
Rolle and Carina, yes now it can be much calmer for a period!
Lena, haha, crescent-shaped entrance cap was a fun expression! It was charming in its own way before too. But it rained and we got water in the hull... when we still had to redo it, it was just as well to do it properly and more modern!
Saija, yes, that's how we feel!
🙂
Nils-Åke, we feel very luxurious now! It felt good when they did the stability test at the end of last week. We will get the final answer with a report next week. First, in the computer programme, they will subject the boat to even more weight to the sides and strong winds. We will return when we have the report!
Veiken, thank you for the nice praise!
Katta, please!
Marina, much more modern now. It's a balancing act between charm and boat feel and modern and stylish. But when we were going to rebuild, we thought it was just as well to invest properly.
