The whole coast of Portugal is a nature experience, I think!

4000mil says:
To be honest, many of the greatest nature experiences that spontaneously come to mind have taken place outside of Europe...
But here are some: Hiking in the Austrian Alps, the Path of the Gods along Italy's Amalfi Coast, the vertical cliffs of the island of Gozo, the sand dunes at Rubjerg Knude in Denmark.
I would like to see more lists like this. Brig it on! 🙂

4000 miles, oh what fun, what exciting places! So there is more left for us to explore! 😉 There will also be more lists like this! 🙂
Ama de casa, but now we are curious to know more about these beautiful places in Spain!!! 😉
Lennart, fun! I wonder which places you have visited... Portugal perhaps?

Marianne - Glimpses of the world says:
Of these places, I have only visited the Blue Eye, Grotta di Nettuno and Hveragerði. Great places! Iceland is amazing - I also liked Jökullsarlon and the black lava beach overlooking Dyrhólaey and Reynisdrangar. Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland is an incredible place, and the coastline further east, at Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge near Ballintoy, is also wild and beautiful. Rubjerg Knude in Denmark is a special place that I've visited several times, where the dunes are always changing. Also, there are so many beautiful places among fjords and mountains here in Norway 🙂 Looking forward to more such lists!

Only British /Charlotta says:
West and North Cornwall. They are related to the Celts of Brittany and both language and nature are similar. Porthcurno beach and the moors around Zennor and the cliffs around Tintagel.
Polar night morning in Jukkasjärvi, where the sky turns turquoise, orange and pink against the snow-covered giant fir trees of the Torne River.
Lauterbrunnen with its isolated valley and high waterfalls and the train journey up to Wengen.
28 December 2015 - 18:29
Only British /Charlotta says:
And I completely forgot the amazing Danube Delta with its bird life on leafy islands.

Shefik, thank you very much! All the best and Happy New Year!!!
Steve, the links go to the posts we wrote when we were there. I don't want to put too much text here so it felt better to link if anyone wants to read more...
Katarina, Brittany is fantastic! 🙂
Marianne, nice to hear which of the places you have visited - it was a mix! 😉 I agree that Jökulsarlon is amazing! Was there a long time ago but then I had no digital camera... Northern Ireland sounds interesting, and of course there are nice places around Scandinavia! Not least in Norway perhaps. I was also there so long ago that I have no digital pictures... Thank you for your interesting comment!
Just British/Charlotta, Cornwall sounds interesting! I have heard before that it is beautiful and that there are similarities with Brittany. I have only been to Jukkasjärvi in the summer... and now I have to google Wengen 😉 I may also have to google the Danube Delta, to see what it looks like 😉.

Ditte says:
Thank you for your list! Some places I have visited and some are still there. Albania is still completely unwritten for me.
I find it hard to list any places directly but Brittany, Gorge du Verdon, Sardinia and Corsica come to mind.
But I have found gems in Mallorca, in Switzerland at Lake Lugano, parts of the Amalfi Coast, Cinque Terre (Italy) ...... and there are more.

JoY says:
We have visited Sandynen, the Grand Canyon, one of the national parks in Croatia.
When it comes to caves, I still maintain that Eisreisenvelt in Austria is powerful and the whole way up there is fantastic to walk/ride.
In Germany, Lübbenau has all the canals for canoeing/cycling and cucumber farms.
Drei Zinnen in Italy if you enjoy hiking, which we did last autumn.
The list could be long...
Hugs

Ditte, interesting with Mallorca, Switzerland and the Amalfi Coast. We have not been there... there is a lot to see!
JoY, nice that you also visited the dunes, Gorges du Verdon and one of the national parks in Croatia! Austria has an amazing landscape, so I can imagine that! What you describe in Germany also sounds interesting. We haven't spent long periods in Germany and last time we went through we were a bit stressed by the cold. Should probably visit Germany in the summer on occasion! 😉

Very nice photos us you!

Monica says:
Saw someone mention Wengen and then I say Grindelwald too, it is very beautiful in both resorts, yes everywhere there and they offer wonderful downhill races:-), yes it is nice all year round with magnificent nature. Northern Italy summer and winter, Torbole, Sirmione, Limone boat and bath and then the Dolomites with e.g. Brixen for skiing.
Gotska Sandön, Fårö and when I am on the Swedish islands Ven too. Mallorca offers many nice places and the finest of all is of course the incredibly beautiful Peak District in the U.K. All seasons! And it is clear that there are many more places but were the ones that first appeared:-). Norway is beautiful too and there is beauty everywhere, you can see that not least in your photos:-)

Monica, thanks for your tips! Agree that northern Italy is beautiful! We have never been to Switzerland, unfortunately. Sweden and Norway of course have nice places and now the Peak District was mentioned again. Must probably picture google a little 🙂

Ohh, lots of nice places! Have been and seen Krka national park (also liked the cosy "village" Skradin) and the Plitvice lakes. This summer we visited Hallstatt and Dachstein Salzkammergut which was very nice. Great views from Five Fingers. The doggy also got to go up in the cable car and walk in the ice cave 🙂.
All the best and Happy New Year!

Many inspirational pictures. We've been to some places, but we still have a lot to do! How can we see everything we want to?

Imedla, glad you saw both Krka and Plitvice! We probably missed Skradin, but I recognise the name so we probably went past... 😉 Interesting tips in general! Many have suggested places in Austria and Switzerland, so there we probably have a little left to see 😉 Wishing good continuation and Happy New Year!
Maria´s Adventure, thanks, glad you like the pictures! Croatia's coast is also fantastic, but it is not bad to make an excursion to one of the national parks when you are there!
Elisabeth, haha, it's probably not a good idea to try to do everything. But in a way, it's lucky that you always have something left to look forward to! 🙂
