Did we mention that it's fair time now? Yesterday it was time for the Stockholm Travel Show at Casino Cosmopol, business edition. But don't worry if you missed it - the big public version of the Stockholm Travel Show will be held at Djurgården on 13-15 May! Yesterday, the industry was invited to breakfast and exhibitions at Casino Cosmopol in the morning. I had to work, but Peter took the opportunity to scout for us ...
Several interesting exhibitors
The fair at Casino Cosmopol was not very big, but Peter still came across several interesting exhibitors from near and far. Andorra for example - the tiny principality with only 85,000 inhabitants, but still nine million tourists every year, especially during the holiday season. Andorra's ski season. There were also interesting exhibitors from countries such as Estonia, Spain and Malaysia. We are thinking and planning hard for the spring trips, we promise!
Stockholm Travel Show - consumer edition
The larger version of the Stockholm Travel Show, the one aimed at the general public, will be held on 13-15 May at Djurgården. Around a hundred exhibitors will showcase their travel destinations right next to the Vasa Museum. "If we're in Stockholm, we'll certainly look there, but you can't be sure ...

We have only driven through Andorra. Have thought about skiing there sometime, training a little as well. But the "problem" is that Sierra Nevada is both bigger and closer 🙂.

Lennart says:
We have thought a lot about Andorra, the problem is that there is a high risk of snow when we pass through!

Anita Malta says:
I would have loved to be there 🙂 Maybe there will be a trip to Stockholm in May.

Ditte says:
Andorra is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. I have been there skiing when we were in the south of France and also a few days in July when we drove around France.
Fun with the fair and I am also fond of Estonia and driving around there is also nice.
If we are at home, we might visit Djurgården in May.

Lina, unfortunately it seems that we will miss each other this weekend too, because we are going to the fair on Saturday. We will see each other at some other time simply Lina! Wish you a nice weekend too! 🙂
Elisabeth, yes usually you are not then concrete when you go to a fair, but you get some new ideas and it's fun! 🙂
Ama de casa, having the Sierra Nevada nearby shouldn't be too much of a problem 😉 Hope you feel better now!!!
Lennart, if you drive a motorhome, you don't want to have to deal with snow...!
Anita Malta, I don't know how big the fair is, but if you're going to Stockholm anyway, it's certainly nice to stop by! 🙂
Ditte, how fun that you tried skiing in Andorra, we are a little hungry for that! 😉 We can also imagine a trip to Estonia. Long since we were there!

Malaysia is really on the move right now. The country is marketing itself incredibly hard and everywhere, not just in Sweden. Malaysia has probably lost a lot of tourists after the two incidents with the aeroplanes. I really wish the country good luck.
Talk about culture clash. I have been to Lejondals Slott with my job - conference. Must say that the castle is really the place that God has forgotten. There you are really cut off from the outside world for good if you say so. With me, the patch disease set in after about five minutes;-) But the food was good ...

Always fun to get new inspiration, let's see if we end up in Andorra this summer when we're in the neighbourhood.

Oh, I would love to be a fly on the wall when you plan trips 🙂 .
I'm so crazy keen but need to secure some consultancy work before I dare to book. Relying on Sweden adventures, there is a lot to explore here too.
But the dream trip right now is ranching in Colorado and hiking in Alaska. And a photo trip to Iceland. And a return visit to Svalbard. Etc...haha.

BP, yes Malaysia is good at marketing itself, and it must have been tough for them with the air disasters! Hardly their fault, but it probably spread uneasiness for quite a while...! And how nice that you were at Lejondals and could report! We have never been there, just thought it was a good picture 😉.
Criss-cross, fun to see if you end up in Andorra! We are following along 🙂
Katta - Bucketlife, haha, smiling a little when I read the first one, haha 😉 But I understand what you mean about needing to secure jobs before booking trips! Certainly there is a lot to see and explore in Sweden! We started travelling even more in Sweden when we got a motorhome! And your dream destinations sound awesome! I have been to Iceland several times. Would love to experience Svalbard!

Maybe we can take a turn around Andorra on the way home, would be exciting. We have not yet decided the route home.

The Motorhome Weekend, that sounds like an interesting route to take past Andorra! The best thing about the motorhome is that you do not have to plan so much in advance! 🙂
