We woke up bright and energetic on Sunday morning and thought we'd get a lot done. I have an extra job that I do from home, we are working on various projects related to the blog, and Peter is preparing for his new job. Happy Friday posts with the full story of his life. But it didn't get much done, so to speak ...
Bad start ...
The day started with my computer thinking it wanted to update something (an update of Windows 10 perhaps?). It took three hours (I'm not kidding!) and ended with the update failing. Meanwhile, of course, I couldn't get any work done at the computer and instead suggested that we do a workout. We have (finally) started training again.
... and worse continuation
We practised for about half an hour before Peter croaked and collapsed on the mat. Oh no, back pain! And of the worse kind. We just had to end the training and try to transport him to the couch, which was easier said than done. Then he mostly lay still there, muttering about not being able to continue writing his posts.
Peter would really needs to see his naprapath, but how he will get there is a mystery... Just getting from the sofa to the kitchen or from the kitchen to the bathroom is a huge project. We hope a miracle happens soon.
Jenn - forever abroad says:
That really sounded like a less desirable end to the weekend.... Get well soon to Peter, I hope it gets better soon! And get well to the computer, Windows is not to be trusted (I say that because I love Mac).

That didn't sound fun at all for any of you! Try to get him to the naprapath, it usually goes faster to heal after a treatment there. Hope it works out with the computer.

If you need help in terms of car transport, I am available. But the question is how he will get into the car. Hugs to you both!

Jenn, thank you so much! (Peter has a Mac, but I sold mine after a few months and switched back to a PC. Unfortunately, I never understood how the Mac worked and went crazy. Peter didn't understand either but had more patience... ;))
Lennart, thank you! Haha, sometimes you almost get the urge to do something like that, but the computer can keep up for a while longer! 😉
Åsa in Åsele, thank you very much! The computer is now working again. Don't think the update went through though...
Imelda, he doesn't think he can get out of the boat today, but we have booked an appointment with the naprapath on Wednesday...
Steve, illness is always inconvenient in some way... We have booked an appointment with the naprapath on Wednesday!
Cecilia, but oh, unbelievably how cute you are! As you say, he does not get into a car today, but thank you anyway!!! ?❤️
Anki, yes he is in pain... And it was not easy to get him out of bed this morning.... Today, rest, stretching and tablets are on the schedule 😉.
Ingrid, I'm sorry to hear that you also suffer from back pain. NOT fun! Hope you continue to do without for a long time now!
Anette, thank you so much! Haha, wonderfully expressed that you are addicted 😉 Yes, the computer seems to work, although I don't think the updates went through....
Solan, thank you very much, lovely people! Say hello!

Really boring! Some days are clearly worse than others.
And when it comes to back pain, there's not much you can do about it, but maybe with the help of pain relief you can get Peter to the car and on to the naprapath, but it's a long way to go...
Or maybe the naprapath can come to you.
I hope it goes away.
I also hope your computer gets in better shape.

Anita Malta says:
Doesn't sound like a good start to the day but I hope it got better towards the evening and that today's Monday is a bit more "normal". Window 10 is constantly chasing me but I haven't dared to update it yet as I'm happy as it is. Back pain is worse, I've only felt it once and that was enough I can safely say.
Have you booked a flight to Malta yet? It would be very nice to see you 😀.

I believe in miracles 😀 so get well soon, Peter! Sending warm vibes here through the cyberspace 😉.
Yeah, right. Things can go wrong sometimes, when you least expect it. Sounds to me like a W10 update with a slow connection.
My mobile phone had a problem with the charging USB on Friday morning, and NO, I was going away for the weekend. It worked out, but I am observant.
Enjoy! ♥

Steel city Anna, thank you!!! ☀️
Ditte, we have booked an appointment on Wednesday. Until then it will be pain relief, stretching, rest... and maybe some wine 😉.
Dryden, yeah, not much to choose from as well 😉.
Anette, thank you so much!!!
Annika Majak, thank you very much! This doesn't seem to go away too quickly, but eventually it goes away...!
Marina, back pain is not fun! It doesn't seem better yet, but I'm doing what I can to help... 😉.
Anita Malta, I have actually bought Windows 10 itself. It was a bit hard to get used to, but perfectly ok now - at least after switching browsers from Edge to Chrome! We booked the ticket today... we'll get back to you!
Discovering the planet, thanks Daniela!!!
Frankie & Co, not that I know of, but it would be needed!!! 😉
Rolle and Carina, ugh, back pain in the motorhome doesn't sound fun! (Although not entirely practical in the houseboat either, we have quite narrow and tricky stairs...).
Ama de casa, not yet, but you have to be confident 😉.
Geddfish, thank you very much! Yes, we have quite a bad connection sometimes (no fixed line) so the slowness can certainly be related to that... Glad it worked out with the mobile phone - that's not fun. You need it!
Deciree, haha, it's nice to laugh sometimes! Of course, you have to take the chance to joke a little sometimes when it is most difficult. And it is heeelt true, he can NOT take me 😉.

I don't know what to say about exercise. It should be good for the bones,
but apparently not all times. Something I don't take chances on. 🙂
That sounds very bad.
I've never heard the word 'naprapath', but I guess it's something like that.
"knucklehead", I guess. I hope that Peter gets quick relief.
Should there be ice or a heating pad on your back?

You should have stuck with the Mac. It's easy to use and fast. And it doesn't do all those tedious updates that Windows does either.
Back pain is awful! Göran got it on one occasion and he even fainted from the pain.
Get well soon hugs Peter!

Ruth in Virginia, haha, yes, exercise should be good they say 😉 Seriously, the back pain probably started with him feeling it when he was carrying floors (construction work is a misery sometimes) but then it went bang when he exercised... And yes, you should of course be a little careful when you exercise 😉
Husisblogg, it will probably not get worse now! If he just gets to see the naprapath, it will probably get better 🙂
Across the board, haha, I would have loved to keep the Mac, but my brain capacity was simply not enough. I understood NOTHING and had no one to ask. I've probably never felt so frustrated in my entire life, so unfortunately... 😉 Thank you so much for your get well greeting and have a great time!

So, everyone says that it is so healthy to exercise but I am extremely doubtful about it. I only get proof of it all the time!
I also had a messy Sunday with my computer, but now it's pretty much OK again.
However, hope that mobility has returned and without pain!

A shitty day simply! Playing sports (training belongs to sports) is dangerous, clearly! I sincerely hope that Peter managed to get to a naprapath today. I had a back injury a few times when I played football (yes, it is also a sport that can be dangerous) and I know how the naprapath did wonders with my back. You could barely get there, but flew away when it was done.
So as I said, I hope that Peter was "exposed" to a miracle today!
