Ok, here we go and now it goes around on the floor, shit in the lingonberries! After a press breakfast at the Allt för sjön fair, it was full speed ahead and taking photos and filming. I tried to walk with a tripod with the Nikon-360 camera in one hand, the regular camera around my neck, my iPhone in a tripod for film in the other hand, and a backpack with lenses and laptop, phew.
After four hours, the real work began. Going through and editing 130 photos, 20 films and 20 360 photos. I'm also in charge of the fair's Instagram and I have to deliver. What have I got myself into? Well, it's only ten days and you can sleep in the grave. Let's get stuck into luxury boats at the 2017 boat show. Stay tuned!
More 55
More 55 is a real gem and if you come to the fair, take off your shoes and check out the boat. Here they have invested in absolute quality and they have realised that if this boat is always going to be at sea, it is cheaper in the long run not to renovate but to invest from the beginning. It is sold for a lot of rental and goes to Croatia in summer and the Caribbean in winter. Salt and sea take a toll on boats as most people know.
More luxury yachts at the 2017 boat show
The Swift Trawler 30 is a very nice boat. It is compact but very spacious. The boat is in a price range between 2.5-3 million depending on what you want in it. It is made in France and feels very authentic.
AQUADOR
The name speaks for itself. The cool thing about the new one is that you don't have to sleep in a bunker anymore. Big windows in both rooms and in the shower, wow. Finally you can wake up and look out, right? Of course it's wonderful! If you are in a harbour next to another boat, make sure you have the treaty if you get excited in the morning, otherwise you end up on Facebook, haha. I think windows in the ruff are 2017, finally!
Sailboat or motorboat? Who are you?
Lena - good for the soul says:
How fun that those boats. When I've been to boat shows, I've always chosen to see the most luxurious boats because I probably wouldn't have that opportunity later, hehe. Really cool creations.
Hug Lena

Peter says:
Hi Lena! There is so much to write about here and there will be more luxury in the future. Hugs
04 March 2017 - 10:54
Hasse says:
Did you anchor outside?
04 March 2017 - 8:53
Peter says:
Haha. We have 10 minutes by car from the houseboat so it's easy for us.

Ama de casa says:
I like sailing. Or going sailing and maybe pulling a sailing rope now and then 😉.
Otherwise, I have realised that cruising is not so bad 😀.
Have a great Saturday, and good luck with everything you have taken on now!
04 March 2017 - 9:03
Peter says:
Sailor string is very cute? It sounds like a pretend boat, haha, like a Molgam. You must be on cruises...? Many hugs.
04 March 2017 - 10:57
Across the board says:
Ojoj now you are busy. The sea and lake are wonderful and there is nothing more enjoyable than sitting on sun-warmed rocks and listening to the waves 🙂.
04 March 2017 - 9:15
Peter says:
Exactly! We wait for the heat and strong sun and then we have it every day. You would really live on a houseboat Anette.??

Husis blog says:
For the male owner, who comes from a town by the sea, a motorboat has always been a dream. Not one this size, perhaps, but still a motorboat that could take him between the islands in the archipelago. Then he met his love and moved inland and they bought me instead. So now he is at least going to the sea, but without a boat.
04 March 2017 - 9:21
Peter says:
I understand because I also gave up a lot when I decided on Stockholm and less archipelago. A more boring life without the sea?
04 March 2017 - 11:01
Mr Frank Olsen says:
A lot of nice and expensive toys there yes 🙂
I was born and raised on an island outside Stavanger in Norway, and probably spent the first 12-15 holidays of my life on board a boat around Ryfylke in Rogaland. Since I became an adult, I have never been much of a boat person. The weather in Western Norway is too bad for that.
So it was a motorhome instead 🙂 With it, it is easier to get to where the good weather is!
04 March 2017 - 10:04
Peter says:
With the car you can now get to harbours and the sea, but it's not the same. I need both in my life and sailing and the sea so I am happy when I end up on the sea.
04 March 2017 - 11:06
Ditte says:
Absolutely a sailing boat! I don't care much for these big tall motorboats that I don't even think look like boats (I've tried a few but it doesn't help because they don't give any seaside feeling).
Have tried sailing on chartered larger boats in Croatia, Turkey and Corsica and it has been great fun with many friends doing this together.
04 March 2017 - 10:28
Peter says:
I've always thought a motorboat was the best, but now I'm switching to sailing. I don't know why, but sailing feels more like being involved. The sea is something very special.
04 March 2017 - 11:10
JoY says:
Absolutely sailing boat, lovely with the silence and sound of the sea and sails.
Hugs

Peter says:
Hi Yvonne! I can agree with you today but not 20 years ago. I am probably late in the development, haha, but action has always been by my side. I probably have more calm in me today, NOT ... Now I'm lying to myself! Racing is probably my melody, haha. Many hugs.

Goatfish says:
Hi, now I've looked at YouTube and joined you there, Peter 😀 It's really wonderful with technology. Had a good laugh at your equipment with cameras in both hands and one around your neck 😀 that's the way to go!
Nice boats and the interior is just so practical and cleverly calculated, luxury 😉 wow!
Now I've been getting a lot of daughter hugs for a few days, so I've got over to you, Saturday hug!
04 March 2017 - 14:11
Peter says:
I receive all the hugs from you Gerd and it makes me happy. We hug far too little today so it is needed, THANK YOU! I am only at the beginning of my video skills but I am learning and it puts great demands on myself. It's important to make good videos but not get hung up on small details, because then you can sit for weeks for each video. I also don't really dare to play out and be as crazy as I want to be, but it will come. Nice to have a lovely follower like you. Many warm hugs from me.

BP says:
Definitely a motorboat. I want to arrive at a destination even if there is no wind;-)
I like the last boat best - windows in the cabin. Good, it's about time.
The other boats are like Monte Carlo or St. Tropez pieces - so, well;-)
And the strangest thing is that the boats - like most motorhomes - still have a boring wooden interior. Nothing seems to have happened there not...
04 March 2017 - 14:38
Peter says:
BP: I think boats and motorhomes should work together. Motorhomes today have better kitchens and they have come much further than big boats. I understand wooden interiors because they have to withstand the weather and wind. You really have a point here because when are new materials coming? We are waiting!
04 March 2017 - 19:34
Matts Torebring says:
I stay on land in my motorhome. Boating is not my thing. I want to be able to let loose all year round, in all weather conditions in a motorhome.
04 March 2017 - 15:15
Peter says:
Thanks for responding Matts even if you don't like boats. Try looking for things that might be good in a motorhome. It's fun to compare what different manufacturers are thinking, and yet we camp but in different ways, but still the same. Have you got your data sorted yet? Class is class and your computer has to work, right?
04 March 2017 - 19:37
Comsi Comsa says:
Oh, that was nothing! 🙂 Just kidding..... 🙂
04 March 2017 - 15:56
Peter says:
Haha, you never have to write jokes to me. I've got a good head on my shoulders and know when a bastard comes flying. Cool world class boats and I would really like to sail one of those.
04 March 2017 - 19:39
Mr Steve says:
I'm not a boat person or a sea lover, but I can still be fascinated by these marvellous creations. However, not so much that I would want to own one.
In my childhood, we once had a Pettersson boat in a lake in my home region of Ångermanland. That the boat was very beautiful is my lasting memory of that sea life.
04 March 2017 - 16:10
Peter says:
Great memories Steve. You'll carry them with you and I'm glad I brought them out for you. Little things that everyone forgets is that we are at a trade show writing about boats, and you pick up a memory that is pleasant. We don't think about it but it means a lot to our overall well-being. That's why I say that if you read a newspaper every day, you need a lot of positivity from others, so that you don't have a negative outlook on life. PS. I want to sail such a boat but not own it.
04 March 2017 - 19:44
Role o Carina says:
Wow what luxury boats, a little different from the 19-footers you had in the -80s!
But now it is Bobil that applies to the whole thing 🙂 .
Take care and enjoy yourselves.....
04 March 2017 - 17:36
Peter says:
19 feet is almost 6 metres and it was a little shit, haha. You had no parties in it? Our houseboat is 66 feet so what everyone brags about at the fair with their 30 footers is nothing. Ok, they can drive too, but it's a small detail.
04 March 2017 - 19:48
Dryden - Traveller's Edition says:
Not that boats are on the shopping list but it would be fun to go to the fair and look, especially when I'm in Stockholm. Too bad they close already at 19.
In other words, will there be a new houseboat soon? 😉
