Today's tip is about naturist campsites in Europe! Do we usually go to naturist campsites? Well, not very often actually, but sometimes we can appreciate sunbathing and swimming without clothes on holiday. Today we're sharing some of our favourite naturist campsites in Europe. Do you visit naturist campsites sometimes... or is it completely unthinkable for you?
Table of contents
1. camping Oltra in Cap d'Agde, France
First of all, we must mention camping Olta in Cap d'Agde in the south of France. This is not just a naturist campsite, but a naturist campsite located in a nude town. So you can go naked on the campsite and on the beach, but if you want, you can also go naked in the shops and restaurants of the town. Or why not go to the bank?
2. El Templo del Sol in L'Hospitalet de l'Infant, Spain
The most beautiful naturist campsite we have visited is probably El Templo del Sol, located in L'Hospotalet de l'infant, southwest of Tarragona in Spain. All the buildings on the campsite are in Arabic style and it has a hot tub and perhaps one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain (top picture). You can be naked on your own campsite plot, in the pool and on the beach, but if you want to visit the shop or reception you have to wear clothes.
3. Riva Bella Camping, Corsica
On the east coast of Corsica is a lovely naturist campsite where you can park your campervan right on the beach. This is a scenic campsite with long beaches, open fields, a lake, an enclosure with llamas and a SPA. A slightly different but relaxing place!
4.Camping koversada, Croatia
Croatia has plenty of campsites for naturists. There are also quite a few naturist beachessuch as the famous Zlatni Rat beach in Bol on the island of Brac. We were here in the month of October and could enjoy the beautiful beach almost alone. Fantastic! We have also visited, among other things Nudist camp Vrboska on the island of Hvar. The coolest is probably Camping Koversada in Vrsar on Istria, which has its own glamping island!
5. Naturist beach at Rullsands Camping, Sweden
Of course, we have to include a Swedish campsite on the list, and it has to be Rullsand's campsite in Gävle, even though it's actually... not is a naturist campsite. This is an ordinary (and very nice!) campsite where you keep your clothes on. At the beach, however, there are alternatives both for those who want to wear clothes, and for those who prefer to sunbathe and swim without clothes.
Naturist campsites in Europe - is it for you?
What about you, have you visited a nice or good naturist campsite? Or do you feel uncomfortable just hearing the word ...? By the way, did you know that there is something called Naturism Day?

My opinion:
Clothing beautifies the body (most bodies anyway).
Sitting and eating naked - just think of the chair seat! Yuck!
And women's breasts "resting" on the table!
-Where do you keep your car keys? Your wallet?
Was on the French side of St Martin, where there was a nude beach.
I have to say that it is (slightly) uncomfortable for me.
Bathing naked with your family in a beautiful lake, THAT'S great!

We've also wondered about the car keys and wallet thing, when it comes to a nude town like Cap d'Agde for example. (When we were there it was April, so for weather reasons people usually had clothes on ;)) We ourselves have been content to sunbathe or swim without clothes on occasion, so we haven't had to think about the wallet "problem" .... 😉

Well, I'll probably keep my clothes on or my swimming trunks anyway. Visited Rullsands Camping last year but did not think that it was a naturist campsite. Most people probably want to wear their swimwear.
There is a naturist campsite in Nora and also one not far from Filipstad but I have not visited any of them.
Happy Easter!!!

Rullsand is not a naturist campsite. One end of the beach below is a naturist beach, but most of the beach is a "normal" beach. Happy Easter!

Swimming naked is great, love it! Walking naked is not something I need, I think. But naturist camping should of course be tried! Thanks for the tips!

We also usually settle for finding a secluded beach where you can perhaps swim without clothes if you want to, but sometimes we have found naturist campsites as well 😉.

Not in the habit of walking naked among unknown non-family members 😉.
but we have stood at Rullstrand's campsite x number of years ago... we were there in June and besides us there was a family with children in Elin's age 🙂.
We did not see a single person bathing or sunbathing, the weather was grey, overcast and the rain was lurking behind the clouds.
Have a great Maundy Thursday and a wonderful Easter weekend!

Rullsand is a nice campsite, which as I said is not a naturist campsite. But then there is that thing about the weather ... We visited the "naked town" Cap d'Agde in France in April and most people had clothes there then I can say (except for maybe a few hours in the sunbed in the afternoon) ... it is not super hot in France in April 😉.

Well...I think I'll stick to at least some clothes (like a bikini ;)! The naturist beaches have never attracted me and that without me being a prude in any way, so I don't really know why, but no thanks. It's kind of funny because we've been to Cap D'Agde several times, but I've never understood that it's known for its naturist beach.

Then you know you've been very close to the biggest "naked town" 😉 That part of Cap d'Agde is inside the fence.

Åke Hammarbäck says:
As a sauna-bathing Norrlander I am, being naked with family and friends has never been any stranger, so now that I live in Skåne with all the Kallbadhus and well-kept naturist baths, I have sunbathed and bathed naked every summer, A small and super nice naturist campsite is in Skanör near Svanrevet naturist bath. The campsite is called Solhejdan and there you are very nicely treated whether you want to be naked or have your clothes on. But most people who dare to try skinny dipping usually like it, so they continue.

It's probably a lot about what you're used to! Sounds like you found nice places! 🙂

In my youth, which is a while ago, I have only once visited a nude beach in the south of France. Let's just say that I didn't do it again, as I burned myself in a "certain" place where there was usually a bikini bottom.
Going naked in shops and restaurants - no thanks. Totally agree with Ruth!
We have "stumbled upon" nude swimmers everywhere, and then we discovered that at least 60 per cent of the nude swimmers are over 60 and they would definitely feel better wearing swimwear;-)

On St Bart's (Sweden's last colony, which was sold to the
France) I was 'chaperoning' an acquaintance, who was
to visit an elderly man who happened to be a priest.
"Father Bob." She couldn't live in his house without someone else...
was there. Down on the beach he asked me: "Do you mind if I
go naked?" I just answered: "As long as I don´t have to look at you."

I'm happy to go textile-free for myself, but certainly not at a naturist campsite.
