Why travel to Corsica?
Nature is wild and beautiful all over the island, with large uninhabited areas where you can see birds of prey or wild boar. The roads on the west coast wind steeply along the coast and are in many places magically beautiful. Car hire is a must to see all the gems of the island. The water is often turquoise blue and crystal clear and the fine sandy beaches are often located in small bays. The beaches are world class!
There are several nice little towns with old buildings and plenty of outdoor cafés. The most beautiful is Bonifacio! Since Corsica belongs to France, it is French food culture that applies with mussels and good 3-course menus. Here you will find lots of articles about Corsica.
