Do you have to wear a tracksuit in your motorhome, we ask. Now it has happened again. I met a neighbour yesterday, whom I know superficially, and told him that we had bought a motorhome. "What? You? You wouldn't believe it! You're not wearing tracksuits," she exclaimed in surprise. Really? And it's not the first time ... It seems that people think that you are must wear a tracksuit in the motorhome.
Do you look a certain way if you have a caravan?
When we were outside Elmia exhibition a woman in the car park shouted: 'Do you want to buy a caravan? and then: "No, by the way, you don't look like that!". No? How should you look? Do you have to constantly walk around in a tracksuit and hold a Swedish pennant in your hand? Or be about to carry out the flower box to be hung on the fence? The thing is, we didn't look like the some special way when we were at Elmia, as far as we know. But, as I said, we didn't have tracksuits.
There will be no tracksuit in the campervan for us
We already promise, dearly and sacredly, that no tracksuits will enter our motorhome. Unless we go training, of course. The tracksuits will be in the garage so we can put them on and go for a jog. But as soon as we get back from the track, they come off! And above all, there is a total ban on drinking wine in our motorhome while wearing jogging clothes! Despite this odd (?) behaviour, we insist on our right to drive a motorhome!

hello
Found your website through google and felt compelled to comment on this article.
We are a family from Skåne who have been travelling by motorhome since 2001, and can give you reassurance on this subject.
We motorhome drivers do not have training gear in matching colours but we dress properly, then you also see a big difference in the washroom at the campsite we do not have plastic plates and plastic glasses but real porcelain and real wine glasses (think and drink a good wine out of plastic, ugh fy).
This is the big difference between Motorhome People and Caravan People.

Thank you for your comment! It feels reassuring! Now we can pack some fresh clothes and a good wine in peace and quiet. The training clothes will end up in the garage (for the purpose of training) and the foppa slippers will remain in the store and wait for the caravan people to come by... 😉.
