As you may know by now, we have had quite a few problems with water leaks in the motorhome. The latest problem is really serious because the leak is in a place where you can't get to it, and it will be quite expensive to fix.
Leave before the holidays
Since the water leakage fault is not ours and since the car's warranty has just expired, we contacted Adria and asked if they could pay. They have now given us an offer to take the car to Karlstad (where there is an authorised Adria workshop) and fix it for us.
Unfortunately, we have to decline this offer, as we won't be able to make it in time for our holiday... Instead, we'll have to fix the car at our own workshop and pay for it ourselves. It's not much fun, but we don't want to jeopardise our holiday trip either ...
The insurance does not cover
We also tried to have the damage paid for by the insurance company. The motorhome is insured in all possible ways with TryggHansa, but when I called them, the insurance did not cover damage to water and pipes!? One wonders what the insurance really applies to...? Is there anyone who has had damage to the motorhome and had it covered by the insurance?
