Now we have major problems with water leakage in the motorhome! The camper was already leaking last autumn, but after a tightness check we thought the problem was fixed. In the spring we noticed that it was still dripping under the car.

Contact with Adria's workshop
Peter called Adria's workshop in April, but was told that hidden faults were not included in a leak check. There were also no appointments to receive the car until after midsummer... As we are going to Europe this summer and as the warranty was due to expire in May, we decided to contact a regular garage. We thought they would be able to help us fix the leak ...
Inaccessible in the mezzanine
Now it turns out that the pipes that leak are inaccessible in the middle floor of the car. At the workshop they have unscrewed a tyre and cut the inner screen to be able to look inside, but as the pipes are fitted before the interior and the shell of the car, it is impossible to access them! It's like building a house and putting all the connections under the floor, which is forbidden in Sweden, but not on motorhomes, and what have they been thinking?
The fault cannot possibly be caused by us (you can't even get in there) but must be due to bad connections. Now the question is whether Adria will help us, even though the warranty expired in May. We did contact an Adria repair shop in April, but there were no appointments... and this is a clear design fault.
Visit to the local workshop
Peter was so lucky, that I could go from work this morning, to P-bil Stockholm, where we have our motorhome for the water leak. We can really recommend them to everyone, for us with caravans and motorhomes, and they are right in Järfälla, compared to all the others that are far outside Stockholm. They do not leave any job without it being well thought out and properly done, real professionals.
Conversation with Adria headquarters
We have spoken to Adria's head office during the day, and they are very cautious about the water leak, which we absolutely understand. They may agree to compensate us for the hidden leak, but they don't want the extra cost of the floor being rotten later, and having to pay for it afterwards. To be on the safe side, Adria would like us to take the car to Karlstad, to their authorised workshop for inspection and we think that Adria is serious.
Now, Peter has a construction company and has been working with moisture damage for many years. And he has judged, after some tests, that there is no danger with the slatted floor. He has informed them of this, and said that they can write off any moisture damage to the floor in the future. So now we're waiting for a decision on Monday, so we can see what their position is on this issue. We hope they take a serious and sound decision.
