Yesterday we wrote that we found statistics on the number of motorhomes on the company Infotorg. According to recent statistics from last summer, there are 19,000 privately owned motorhomes in Sweden. But after a comment from Margareta Jonilsson at the online magazine Nomadliv, we have become aware that these figures do not seem to be correct ...
Significantly more mobile homes
Margareta, from the magazine Nomadliv, has been in contact with the Swedish Transport Agency which states that the number of registered motorhomes in Sweden is 43,983. According to SCB, the figure would be 49,186. (More detailed explanations of the figures can be found in the comments.) I have not had the opportunity to examine the data more closely, but it certainly seems that there are more motorhomes than what we reported yesterday ...
But where does InfoTorg get its data from? What do you think about this? We will investigate further tomorrow and get back to you!
