Peter's son Robin and his Alexandra were loaded when we picked them up at nine this morning. Since then, Freedom has been like a belt on the roads down the country. We drove to Malmö and took the Öresund Bridge to Copenhagen. Then it took only 10 minutes to find Camping Absalon.
From Stockholm to Copenhagen
We picked up Robin and Alexandra in their apartment, and then it was time to roll south. It's a good bit to drive from Stockholm to Copenhagen, but if you are tagged, you are! there was a small food break on the way of course, but otherwise we rolled on at a reasonably good marching speed, so as not to arrive too late.
Arriving at Camping Absalon
Now it's really nice to arrive at the Camping Absalon in Copenhagen! There aren't many people on the campsite because it's off-season, but it seems to be perfectly fine here. The campsite is open all year round and there is a service centre which seems excellent. There are also quite a few cabins here, if you prefer.
Although you are 8-10 km from the centre of Copenhagen, it still feels like it is quite easy to get into the city. Within walking distance there are commuter trains that can take us into the city centre.
Now it's time for some cheese and wine ... ! We're here to party at Sensation White, and even though it's only tomorrow, we're already in a good mood!
