Vinprovning i Gamla stan i Stockholm

For our birthday last summer, Peter's son Robin and his girlfriend Alexandra gave us a wine tasting as a gift. So today it was time for a wine tasting in Gamla Stan in Stockholm!

Theme Riesling

The theme was Riesling and we got to try four different Riesling wines; two from Germany, one from France and one from New Zealand. Per Sifvert hosted this wine tasting in the Old Town and we must say that it was very good! He was very knowledgeable and there was a nice and relaxed atmosphere.

If you want to book a wine tasting with him, check out his urkorkat.nu. The wine we liked the most was the French one; Grand Cru from Alsace. A mild wine with a slightly floral scent that fits well as a welcome drink, for example.
