We have both door alarms and motion alarms in our motorhome. But if you park your car in a lonely spot, what good is it when the alarm goes off? We have often thought that it would be good if we could get an alarm from the motorhome to our mobile phone.
SMS alarm in case of theft
CampingSverige.se presents a novelty, which deals with "SMS alarm in case of theft". This is about GPRS technology that is integrated into the Mover system and makes it possible to receive an alarm via SMS if the motorhome is stolen or moved.
Different alarm systems
The Kama Fritids catalogue also presents a number of different alarms and alarm systems. These include GSM modules for alarm systems that send SMS messages to mobile phones in the event of an alarm. These systems can also be used to switch heating and air conditioning systems on and off or to obtain information on battery levels. This certainly sounds interesting ... Have any of you tried any of these systems? What are your experiences?

Wonderful with all the new good technology. Is there anything for e.g. gas alarms?

Yes, there is a benefit to all new technology, isn't there? Of course there are gas alarms! We don't actually have one. Gas safety is high today, so we haven't felt the need for it. But if you have an older car, it can probably be good to have a gas alarm.

I have no such alarm. We have our house alarm connected so that we also get a ringtone to our mobile phone. We have had it once and almost had a brain haemorrhage. We were some distance from home....fortunately there were others who would take care of it, but only the KNOWLEDGE that SOMETHING had happened....
