Here is a greeting from Hasselt, Belgium. The journey here was quite long. We took a flight to Eindhoven, continued by train to Maastricht and then travelled the last stretch by bus to Hasselt. Fortunately, all the people along the way were incredibly friendly and helpful. And then we got to rest at the hotel De Groene Hendrickx.
Hotel De Groene Hendrickx
We have now checked into the hotel De Groene Hendrickx and we must say that it feels really fresh and modern. The colours are grey, black and white and here and there are different types of illuminated light boards. The best part is that the hotel is really central. Just step outside the door and we are right in the centre.
A walk in town in Hasselt
We also had time to take a walk around the city, which didn't take long. Hasselt is a small town, but very cosy! Here you will find charming old neighbourhoods and modernly decorated shops. There has also been some shopping. There was no hat in that hat shop in the picture, but there was a pair of trousers for me (Helena).
Now it's time to relax a little in the hotel room before tonight's party. We are here for the big trance party "Sensation White in Hasselt", when everyone comes in white clothes and dances to trance music all evening and night. It will be a long night for us, so we really need to get some rest beforehand. Hope you have a great weekend!
