Our absolute favourite sandwiches right now are these delicious tuna sandwiches. Today we made them for lunch. We got the inspiration for them when we were in Malta, where these flavours were often served on sandwiches. Then we've adapted them a bit to suit our tastes here at home.
Inspiration from Malta
When we were at Malta we often ordered tuna sandwiches for lunch. In addition to tuna, the sandwiches usually contained onions, olives and capers. What a good combination! Sometimes there was also melted cheese on top. The sandwiches were often served with green salad and French fries.
How to make your own tuna sandwich
We've taken the inspiration home with us, and usually make a variation that works at home. We don't usually melt cheese on top, but you can use it if you want. Of course, you don't have to serve it with salad and chips either. We usually just make a few sandwiches.
Toast a slice of white bread (or use good ciabatta bread) and fill it to the brim with tinned tuna, chopped yellow onion, sliced green olives and capers. Drizzle some olive oil over it. Super tasty!

That sandwich both sounded and looked very good.
In general, we did not feel that France was much more expensive than Sweden. What we thought had become more expensive since we were there a few years ago was that the motorways had become much more expensive.

I've probably travelled 50 miles by car around Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shenzhen without seeing a campervan. Go here and you will surely be noticed. Or maybe not - Chinese traffic is best avoided by driving yourself. Hong Kong also has left-hand traffic.
Sandwiches are something you don't get too much of here. At least not outside very expensive (about 1000 SEK/HKD/RMB per night) ***** hotels.
Greetings from Hong Kong airport where WiFi is free 🙂 .

Big brother, how nice to hear from Hong Kong! More free WiFi for the people, plain and simple!
😉
Hope you had a good time in China! Sandwiches are not exactly their speciality, but they usually can fix other things that are good...!
We would actually love to go to China by motorhome! But I don't think we dare to travel in this car... It will probably be a more off-road motorhome if we want to get through Russia. We have some ideas anyway
😉
Kersti, absolutely, perfect with New Zealand white wine!

hello
It looks very good with tuna on a sandwich.
But I can skip the olives themselves.
Feel free to visit me. Please write in my guestbook so I can find my way back here. You are welcome.
Have a good day.
I will also take the opportunity to wish you a nice week ahead. Be well.
Kind regards

Sv. Yes, of course it gets crazy with pictures sometimes, but take a look at the lady with the bag too ! - It's really funny!
( So you can learn to take it easy in traffic too... 😉 )

Hi! What an interesting write up on sea urchins. Lying on a beach on Lefkas o some guys doing a walk down the water cleared of the biggest rocks, they even pick black sea urchins with their bare hands. When it comes to crab, I have heard that the female crabs are wider across the tail ? so they are more likely to contain roe. Nice pictures of the art of eating a crab.
