The LGBT festival in Gothenburg ended with a Rainbow Walk on Sunday, from the Opera House to Götaplatsen. A long parade that filled the city with festival atmosphere, colour and joy.
It was a bit cold, but music, dance and spex always liven things up! If you wanted, you could throw "stones" at "capital" and the "heteronorm"...f
And guess who you met? Bobo and Margareta who run the fine online magazine Nomadliv. So much fun!

You seem to have had a really great weekend down there in Gothenburg! 🙂 I would also like to go there and greet the little godson, hopefully I take a turn past there on my tour this summer. Do you have any good tips on pitches?

Johanna, isn't it wonderful? And there are quite a few occasions that give a festival atmosphere in Sweden ...
Nathalie, I don't know exactly which parking spaces you want when you have a caravan. But we were standing along the waterfront at Skeppsbron in Gothenburg. The car parks were one after the other, so you should be able to stay there for two squares with a caravan. Parking costs SEK 6 per hour on weekdays during the day and SEK 1 per hour at all other times.
Tebbe, glad you were also at the LGBT festival! Ok, Conversen is conquering Sweden... But not as extreme here in Stockholm I think...?

Oh what fun!!!
I love those parades. You should see the parade in Washington around Halloween where there's PRIDE galore, and then the "real" pride parade in the spring. SO cool.
have never seen pride in Sthlm, but want to.
Would love to see the pride in GBG too. Super nice pictures!!!
