The journey to Lycksele went really well ... until the GPS decided to lead us onto a 6 mile long gravel road where we could not drive faster than 30 km per hour. How could she say that this was the fastest road???
Slow driving on a gravel road
Oh, my goodness! Was the GPS serious when it led us onto this dirt road? Was there really no other way? It's very possible that our GPS was fooling us, but we had to muddle through. There wasn't much to choose from. Slowly we approached our goal, that is, Granö camping.
Granö camping
It took some time to arrive, but finally Peter could get his car whiskey, the whiskey he wants after a long car journey. Then we had (finally!) arrived at Granö camping, which is located between Lycksele and Umeå.
It's quiet and peaceful and we stand on a large lawn with a few other motorhomes, caravans and tents. Here we relax and take it easy for an evening before the adventure continues.

Haha, 6 miles? Poor, poor you! I tell you, never trust the nasty lady inside the GPS, mine is actually tucked into one of the caravan cabinets - it's more of a sport that way! 😉

Often we find that we have a lot of help from the GPS. But sometimes you actually wonder if she is in a bad mood... this time a good old map would have worked much better!
