Finally, we can park the Freedom outside the house! We've always been a bit jealous of people who live in a villa and can park their motorhome in the garden. It is not as easy when you live in an apartment. But now we have found a solution!
Parking in the garden
Our housing association has refurbished the courtyard, and more parking spaces became available. The car park at the bottom was also a little extra large, so that a motorhome can fit. Now we can sit in the living room and look out at Freedom ... fantastic!
Where do you store your motorhome? Do you have your motorhome right outside your home or do you store it further away?

We rejoice with you, it must be nice to have it close and under supervision. We live in the country and when we come home with our motorhome and have washed it, we drive it into the barn, where it is protected from both rain and sun.

prefect to be able to keep an eye on the motorhome from the window. We live in a townhouse area and there is a caravan/camper parking here but we have to walk about 200-300 metres before we see it. Always a little worried because right now it's mischievous here, the other night the tyres were stolen from the cars and then you always wonder what Biggen looks like when you get there.

Johanna, yes, it looks completely different! We have also got a nice wide stone wall, with plants in the centre, around the whole yard. You can see some of it in the picture, but not much.
Agneta, it's practical that there is a caravan/camper park, but it's not fun to have to worry about it. Sure, we think it's really nice to be able to see the picture from the window!
Eva, how nice to hear that you got away on the internship and that it was good! Glad that Patrik remembered us! (Maybe he remembered that I thought the rafting was scary, but the others were quite brave ;)) Great trip to Prague! I will check out your page and read more!

Congratulations on your new close-to-home car park! Always nice to have the car at home. We have ours in our own car park in the garden. But it still doesn't prevent burglaries. A few years ago we had a burglary in the motorhome but the dogs scared the thieves away because we found the radio loose on the driver's seat. A lot of ordinary cars were broken into in our street and all they took were the radios.

Ulrika, yes, it's really nice to have the motorhome close by! Unfortunately, you are never really safe from burglary, although it feels a little safer to have it close... We live in an area with apartment buildings around the entire car park and quite a lot of people moving around, so you can hope that it deters. But you can never be sure... Good thing you didn't lose more! You often have quite a lot of value in a motorhome, compared to a regular car.
