Trosa guest harbour is one of our favourite places when we are out with the motorhome! It's just the right distance from Stockholm and very cosy. In addition, you can park your motorhome really well here in the guest harbour. There is all the service you need, and it is always nice to be close to the water.
Why we like trosa
Trosa is a very cosy little town where you can watch the boats, browse small craft and delicatessen shops or visit cafés and restaurants. The caravan site is located in the guest harbour, and for 160 kr/day you get access to electricity, toilets, showers, rubbish collection and wireless internet. If it's full (or if you don't use this service), you can also park for free on the waterfront to the left of the harbour.
Site with electricity and motorhome friends
Last night all the electrical sites were full, so we were down by the water. Today we managed to squeeze in and get a spot with electricity... And what was the first thing that happened when we got here? Well, we met motorhome friends from last Easter ... fun!
Visiting the motorhome
One of the great things about motorhoming is that you meet lots of new people. When we were in Trosa last Easter, we met two super nice couples from Haninge and arranged a little spontaneous Easter lunch with them. And now we met again! It was a nice evening in our motorhome with talk about motorhome trips and all the things that go up and down in life.

Yes, it is cosy and we have also stood there several times, either on the electrical sites or on the parking space down by the boat docks. Have a nice weekend!

It's nice to meet friends just like that.
One more tip for Budapest. Go to the hotel that sells tickets for Riverride. Look around the foyer and take a look at the toilets. Attached link.

Hi Helena, a question about a completely different matter..what does your family do on 4-5 Nov (Thu-Fri) need 8-12 participants for an adventure course in ramsele..it is free + food + accommodation included at the camp 1 day free) only the journey there and back you have to pay for yourself, at least 8 we must have otherwise that part will be moved to a later date..no high altitudes unfortunately as it is cert safety classified, it is part of our training to lead a group and plan a course...get in touch.eva

Ferferi, I will soon post some more pictures from Trosa and tell you why we like to go there!
Veiken, thanks again for the tips! Have checked out the Riverride page now, and it looks really fun and interesting! Should not miss checking out the toilets either!
😉
Eva, thank you for asking! Unfortunately, we have no opportunity to go away that weekend. I have to admit that I'm a bit of a coward when it comes to water and heights... (although the others in the family may be a bit less cowardly). I HAVE tried rafting twice, but it was a challenge for me....
