It was finally time for Sensation White in Oslo 2011, with the theme Ocean of White. Eight hours of dancing to great DJs and a fantastic show with lights, lasers, fountains, fires and dancers. A really cool experience together with 23,000 people dressed in white.

Telenor Arena
Ever since we got our tickets we have been looking forward to this! We drove the motorhome to Telenor Arena in Oslo, and parked in the car park just outside. It costs 120 kr/day to park here. Talk about having the hotel close by! And the sun was shining and the atmosphere was great for Sensation 2011. Can it get much better than this?
Pre-party for Sensation White in Oslo
The sun was shining all Saturday in Oslo. It was really a perfect day to have a pre-party outside the motorhome! Then we only had a few hundred metres to walk up to the arena... We didn't take photos inside the event itself, but here are some pictures from the pre-party.
Long queues at Sensation White in Oslo
If there is anything to complain about, it was the organisation of the catering. It is not acceptable to have to queue for an hour to get something to drink, be it a beer or a glass of water. We've been to Sensation before (in Copenhagen and Belgium), but have never seen the service so poorly organised.
Fantastic weekend in Oslo
All in all, we had a fantastic weekend in Oslo, with city camping, sun, parties and Sensation White! There are many wonderful memories we have with us home.

My father and I saw you at Statoil västhaga in Örebro. We sat in a green old ugly 9000. We were curious and looked in here 🙂.

Caroline, how nice that you stopped by here!
🙂
It was on the way from Oslo that we stopped in Örebro and refuelled. Now you have found our blog, where we write about our trips with the motorhome!

Oh, how cool it looks with everyone in white! Hope you had a great evening, very long waiting times to get something to drink!

Mr Carlos says:
A: How lucky you were! Because they cost 190 euros each and then you could go further up and get drinks and there was much less of a queue.
But I agree with you! There were far too few bartenders and actually alcohol such as beer, cider, wine and also water and soft drinks should be included on Deluxe but I think (I'm really not sure but in Sweden it is so..and Norway and Sweden are quite similar) that you are not allowed to offer alcohol as they do in e.g. Denmark and other countries.
And it was a big disappointment but overall it was a great show and everyone was so excited and was really there for the experience and the music.

Answer: How wonderful! Agree with you, really bad with all the long queues. And when we finally arrived at the bar, they said it was closed due to too much pressure, hmm?! But otherwise - great!

Carlos, funny that we got those bracelets... The queue was really boring, but the show and the music were great!
🙂
Joss, what a shame to arrive and be told that the bar has closed. The bars were really undersized, but agree - otherwise great!

Hard to wait so long for a drink! You guessed right that it was Halong Bay in Vietnam, very beautiful 🙂.

Mr Mattias says:
Great info about parking at the arena, now this was a while ago but do you know if you can still park a motorhome at the arena during events and also stay overnight?

Unfortunately, I can't answer, but as long as you stand inside the dotted lines and pay, it should go well? (Then you may not always get to pick out tables and chairs and stuff ;))
