We thought we'd give you some tips on playing video games in the campervan. Perhaps mainly for those of you with children or teenagers, although we sometimes play when we are alone as well... So a PlayStation is often included in our motorhome.
Video games while driving
When we take the younger generation on long journeys, we usually attach a screen to the back of the driver's seat. Then they can play PlayStation while we drive, not bad at all! (Note: A converter is required to convert 12 volts to 220.)
Video games when we stopped
Moreover, sometimes a video game is the only way to get our young people out of the house. outside the car... The large TV screen was given to us at one point and has since travelled with us in the car. It's good because it's movable and because it's easier for me (whose vision is a bit blurry) to keep up with it.
Video games can also be great fun as parlour games. We often play Buzz and Trivial Pursuit (two quizzes), either alone or together with the boys.

Just like you, I wouldn't dare to fly a plane like that either, I'd rather rely on those who are trained for the purpose.

Carina, if we are so often in close proximity to each other, it is bound to happen one day!

We also have a playstation for travelling in the motorhome. But so far we've only used it when we've been on campsites with electricity. How does it work with this "converter" - does the playstation and TV use a lot of power? You have 2 batteries in the car?

Frode, we use Playstation while driving and there is no problem. I don't know how much power it uses, but since the car is charging while driving, it's not a problem. However, when we are stationary, we tend to use it only when we have access to power. Yes, we have two batteries in the living area.

Hello,
I am planning my first motorhome and have received many tips and much inspiration from your blog. As a technology enthusiast with a 12-year-old on some trips, I wonder if the Playstation requires a pure sine wave from the inverter or if a modified sine wave is sufficient? There is quite a big price difference between the two variants. Have fun on your ongoing long journey!

Peter, Peter says that he thinks you should invest in an inverter with a pure sine wave. He believes that it is better to invest in a good inverter with quality, otherwise, in the worst case, components of the technical equipment can be destroyed and it may be even more expensive... Glad you have benefited and been inspired by our blog!
