Imagine if you would get a puncture on your rolling house somewhere down in Europe ... Now we have ordered M Väghjälp from Motormännen. For 195 SEK/year (for members) you get starting assistance or towing to the nearest workshop. If something happens, it will of course feel extremely nice to have this help.
What is roadside assistance for?
Roadside assistance applies to cars, motorcycles and motorhomes up to 4500 kg and in all countries covered by the vehicle's insurance. We chose M Roadside Assistance because it was affordable when you are a member of Motormännen, but similar services are available from SBM, for example. We (fortunately) have no experience of either. Please tell us if you have experience with these services!

Ninni, it sounds good that it's included! Sometimes you might double insure yourself because you don't know...?
Nisse & Birgitta, there are several different types of roadside assistance. When you end up in something like that, you are at least happy to have it!!!

We don't have any experience with these services, but we do have a puncture on our campervan and that TWICE (not in the same year though or the same car). The first time in Norway on our first car. Not fun to stand on a narrow road and try to free the spare wheel that was stuck under the car. The second time we had managed to drive a nail into the tyre and on the morning before the long holiday started, the puncture was discovered. We just had to go to the tyre shop and get it fixed, luckily they had time for that. But there were many extra tyre checks during that trip.
The previous car had some kind of insurance for using a certain type of oil, and it was valid throughout Europe.

Ulrika, help that's the kind of thing you don't want to happen... it's not like a SMALL car you're dealing with either! Fortunately, it seems that it was resolved in any case!
