The luxury campsite Jesolo International is located in Lido Di Jesolo, Italy. Here, close to Venice, you'll find Europe's longest pedestrian and shopping street and a huge, luxurious campsite. This is 'all inclusive' in the true sense of the word.
There are road signs everywhere, and yet we keep getting lost. There's a long beach, swimming pools, restaurants, sports facilities, playgrounds, a supermarket and service centres that make you think you're in a hotel.

To Austria - and back to Italy
We actually started travelling north, from Lake Garda to Innsbruck. The idea was that we would go on to Berlin and Poland, but Now that we finally have the Internet, we can see that a low pressure system seems to be moving in over the whole of northern Europe ...
That didn't sound like fun at all. We simply went back to Italy and stayed at the huge and luxurious Jesolo International campsite. At least that's the advantage of a motorhome and no bookings. You can change your plans whenever you feel like it.
Jesolo International - huge campsite
This campsite is really huge. There are roads in all directions, and signs are needed everywhere to give you a chance to find your way. Most camping sites are fairly large, but there are also some that are extra large, for the giant American motorhomes we see in some places. And then there are some that are extra luxurious - where you get your own toilet, for example.
Everything you need at Jesolo International
There are several shops and restaurants in the area, and in at least one of the shops you can buy wine by filling up a bottle you have brought with you. Of course, there are also a whole bunch of service centres, pools, playgrounds and sports facilities. If you don't want to, you never really need to leave the campsite.
If you're looking for a pitch, forget it. The campsite has everything you could want and it's really good, but of course it costs a lot to be here. We stayed here for a week and divided it into four just to experience a little luxury in all life and we will not forget it.
Expensive, but much included
Price? 29 euros/night for the site + 13 euros per person (2011). Pretty hefty, but on the other hand it's fascinating how much is included in the price: sunbeds and parasols, canoes, banana boat, boat trips, adventure golf, various sports, WiFi, pressure washing for the car, Italian language courses, doctors and a water park 2 km away. Just to name a few. The service houses are really fresh, as well as washing machines and all other services. Nothing to complain about!
The majority of guests are German
At this campsite, the majority of guests are German. Otherwise we see Italians, Austrians, Belgians and Dutch. If you are spoken to, it is undoubtedly in German and it often takes quite a long time before we can interrupt and ask if the person in question possibly speaks English ...
Long shopping street in Jesolo
Jesolo consists of a single long main street lined with shops (mainly of the knick-knack variety, although an Armani may suddenly appear as well). The first day we tried to walk, but after a third of the distance we gave up... Better to rent a bike for four!

We have also been to that campsite. Yes, if you take advantage of everything that is included, I do not think it is expensive, and you are within walking distance of the village. Performance almost every night (at least when we were there) and the whirlpool was not wrong. Have a good time .... because here it is raining and the temperature is only 17gr 🙁

There was a luxury campsite. We have never stood on such a campsite. This weekend we luxuriated in free camping. We have walked a little bit of the Sörmland trail and then relaxed and had a nice time by a lake. Keep up the good work!

so...now I have read everything with you and what a wonderful holiday you have! Well, apart from the mishap at the airport then ...
Giant campsites are sometimes a fun experience for all that they manage to get into one, this one you are on seems huge!'Have a nice holiday, I myself start working today after 5 weeks on the road!

Snobs & Co says:
Modern comfort, also suitable for camping :-).
We have had five nights along the Göta Canal, excuse the swearing, but damn how nice it was! The campsites varied from outdoor sink without hot water to sensor-controlled showers but nothing like your Jesola Int :-).
We went in for landing last night, drove home in the rain after tropically warm sunny days, and fell asleep to the evening sun as the last seconds of the holiday ticked away.
Have a nice trip!

Ulrika, dogs are not allowed (just checked the brochure).
Maggan and Ingemar, glad you were here! Agree, if you take advantage of the things, the price is quite good. We have been to cheaper campsites where we instead paid extra for wifi, car wash and various boats at the beach. The result has certainly been more expensive several times.
Elisabeth, free camping is also luxurious, but in a different way! Nice that you can vary with a motorhome!
Krister, yes, that might be an idea! Do not know which ones can be the most luxurious, but this one could certainly fit. May think about it or something similar ...
Agneta, hope you can come back to work with new energy after a long holiday! We don't always want to be on campsites like this, but it can be fun sometimes. Sometimes I think you get a little "trapped" when everything is inside the walls. But this is not the case here, as the centre is only 3 minutes away.
Snobben & Co, it can be nice to be comfortable sometimes. It is far from always needed, but sometimes you can recharge your batteries with an extra nice shower, etc. Glad to hear that you had a great time at the Göta Canal!

Anders and Birgitta says:
Seems to be a top campsite, just a pity that you are not allowed to have dogs with you, then it is excluded for us. We have been at a top campsite in Spain for several years, it is called Playa Montorig. It is also one of Europe's finest campsites but unfortunately there is a dog ban even there so now we can not return there.
Sure, it's fun to stay at a real luxury campsite for a change of scenery. At least that's what we think.

admin says:
Anders and Birgitta, since we don't have a dog, we haven't thought much about whether dogs are often banned or not, but understand that it can be more difficult to find campsites. We agree that it can be fun with a luxury campsite sometimes, at least if you are going to stay for a while. Otherwise, we are more often in simpler places.

Ulrika says:
We are probably a bit spoiled here in the Nordic countries that dogs are often allowed on campsites and in other places (strangely enough, it is usually the opposite). In Denmark, however, they charge extra for dogs, unfortunately. Gets a little expensive when you have four pieces like us, but usually they do not ask how many you have .... 🙂
You seem to have a great holiday anyway! We will probably also try to travel around Europe, it will probably be any year! The dogs are vaccinated and have passports so they are no problem.

Ama de casa says:
Wow! Luxuriously worse! Although I usually think that such overly large campsites have a tendency to be a bit uncomfortable ...
But a dishwasher... I don't even have one at home!
🙂

admin says:
Ulrika, interesting to know! Understand that it can be expensive with four dogs ... We think it is usually expensive to be four adults in the car ... (Young people over 15 are almost always counted as adults so it can be quite expensive).
Ama de casa, we also think that it can sometimes be uncomfortable, but above all that you sometimes feel a bit "trapped" in the area. Here, however, you do not get that because the centre is just outside the gates. A little fun for a change anyway!
