At this time of year, all the different brands and models of motorhomes are highlighted. It's not easy to choose! We looked around at many different motorhomes before we bought ours. In the end it was a Adria Coral 660 sp from 2007 (although it may not be easy to see).
Our motorhome
- This is what we like about our motorhome: The size - it's big enough for four, but not so big as to be unwieldy. That there are four fixed beds, plenty of cupboards for storage and an excellent oven.
- This is what we are less satisfied with: That would be the load weight, which is quite limited.
- Here is what we have done: Tell me what we haven't redone! The exterior design, the upholstery, the fabrics, the sound system, the lighting, the interior of the garage...

Of course, we've written a lot about our motorhome before. Here you can read more about our motorhome:
What kind of motorhome do you drive? What do you like about it? What are you less satisfied with? What have you changed?
Annelie-Singapore says:
Will I be travelling to my home region this weekend or not?
Think of the fair at Elmia and Huskvarna of course.
Have you rested or stayed overnight with your motorhome in Huskvarna at some point during the summer?
TIP! There is a place that is popular, and where there is always a bunch of motorhomes from all over Europe that stay overnight, and we always go our morning walk past. Down at Oset as we say. Alriksvägen in Huskvarna down by the lake.
I've actually been to Thailand once, but not on a beach holiday; in February I visited an orphanage in northern Thailand in the Golden Triangle.
Going to a seaside resort seems to be a good idea when there are predominantly Swedes there, like the Canary Islands in the 70s and 80s. No, there is so much more to experience in other places where tourism is not as big.

Snobs & Co says:
The snob is a 2007 Hobby Siesta T555 AKLC.
This is what we like about our motorhome: The size - max 6 metres and the brand's standard equipment. Alcove and layout with large dinette, corner kitchen and oven, good floor space and the design both inside and out and all the lights. Unexpectedly happy with the car (Ford).
We are less happy with this: Water collects on the roof which can run down over the entrance. Lack of 'garage'. The height of the toilet seat.
Here's what we've done: Converted all lighting to LED.

Annelie-Singapore, unfortunately there will be no trip to Elmia for us this year. It's a bit of a drive for us to Jönköping and we're going there a week later anyway, so it will have to be this time.
I don't know where Oset is? But may have to take and check it out! The road past Huskvarna and Vättern is so nice!
Exactly agree when it comes to Thailand and tourist spots. I think there can be a lot of nice and interesting things to discover in Thailand, but the most touristy places feel a bit boring (especially if it's only Swedes), no matter which country it is in. Swedes you meet so often anyway. You also want to see and experience something else when you are abroad.
Snobben & Co, how nice that you tell us! There are so many different factors to consider in a motorhome and it is difficult to know beforehand exactly what you will like and not. LED lighting is super in a motorhome!

Ama de casa says:
We drive a 2006 Toyota Corolla, on top of which we have a 1986 Packline and our tent.
What I like about our motorhome is that... that... it's quite easy to drive in narrow alleys.
On the downside, the tent takes a lot of time to set up and take down. Nowadays, this is often solved by going hotel camping instead.

We drive a 2002 Bürstner 642i Elegance. We are two adults and we are so happy with our choice. On the plus side, the spacious bathroom with wardrobes and walk-in shower, a long sofa where you can stretch out quickly (as we have an integrated one), the kitchen area, the feeling of quality of things... Well, the list goes on. On the negative side, I can mention the lack of sufficient external storage.

Ama de casa, together with hotel-camping it seems to be very flexible

Agneta, great that you are so happy! Burstner makes great motorhomes!

We drive an Elnagh BigMarlin, alcove car with bunk beds in the back for the children. Are happy with the size as we get plenty of space all and can have extra sleeping guests with us as well. Plenty of curtain space and the bathroom ok.
Now we have started to think about trying to find a fully integrated as our bodies can no longer climb up and down the ladder, a bit too many injuries and illnesses on both of us adults unfortunately.

Agneta, sounds like you had a car with good space for everyone. Hope you find one in the future that can suit you better now!
Birgitta, how exciting with a new motorhome! Nice weekend to you too!

We drive a Nordic 685, are two adults and 2 medium-sized dogs. There is a double bed in the back and another bed in the alcove. Angle kitchen which gives a little more space for cooking, large fridge with separate freezer, many cupboards for packing and large wardrobe. Sufficiently large bathroom with separate shower. Warm even in winter with a little thicker insulation, only 2 small roof hatches and we can close the driver's cabin with sliding doors, this also makes it a little cooler in summer.
Disadvantages: load weight only 600 kg
seating area too small for 4

We also drive an Adria, a Coral SL670 -11. And we are happy with EVERYTHING! We are two adults and four medium-sized dogs and sometimes an adult son. This is our fourth car and we have now got everything we missed in the others. But of course we are most satisfied with the oven (finally), the garage (lots of cargo space), the mosquito net door (good to keep the bugs out), the floor heating (nice in the morning), the beds (very nice), the lighting (really cosy), self-closing drawers (luxury) and the toilet (plenty of space and good shower). Can't think of anything we're unhappy with. Possibly the engine (130 hp) but with a KCR box we got a lot of extra horsepower without extra diesel consumption. So apart from the KCR box, we haven't had time to make many changes other than putting up some hooks in the garage. On the whole, Adrian is a very nice car and I can understand that it is Sweden's best-selling brand today. We have previously had CI Riviera (2 pcs) and Elnagh.

The motorhome, it sounds like a good car in winter, which I also thought about Nordic. A bit boring, however, with such a narrow seating area, and we recognise the load weight ...
Ulrika, it is so fun that you also have an Adria! Everything you describe sounds very good, and we recognise a lot even though we have a different model. I actually did not know that it was Sweden's best-selling brand? But in ofs I can understand it, you get a good car without it being too crazy expensive. Otherwise, I think you see a lot of Kabe out on the roads?
