Finally, a coffee machine for the campervan! In our motorhome, we have always drunk instant coffee ... but that will soon change! Today Peter bought an espresso machine at Media Markt. Now there will be good coffee in the motorhome too.
Our new coffee machine
Now that it was time to get a coffee machine for the motorhome, it was an Espresseria Automatic from KRUPS. This was the last copy in the store, and it was discounted a few thousand dollars ... Soon it will be installed in the caravan. the camper van! How do you make coffee in your motorhome?
Shelf in the motorhome
We plan to have the coffee machine in the tall cupboard next to the kitchen, where we are building in shelves for storage.
Anette says:
We drink pressed coffee in the motorhome. We have a small kettle that we use when we are on electricity and otherwise, of course, we boil water on the stove. We used to make coffee in a saucepan, but the pressurised kettle is much more convenient and the coffee is delicious.

We have tried all kinds of ways to fix coffee, always ended up with nose coffee but now we have decided that it will be pressed coffee instead, all to get good coffee.... let's see how it goes when the season starts;).

We only have nasal coffee, our stomachs can't handle anything else, even though we think it's better with real brewed coffee. Doesn't that take a lot of power?

We have a cordless brewer that makes great coffee on the gas hob, a Cuperinox.

The best known is probably the Bialetti brand, an innovation from the 1930s. Moka Express.

It's simple, quick and delicious!

Good luck with your new coffee maker!
We brew in the "Rowenta-Milano Therm" that belonged to the camper van, 230V (via inverter or direct electricity).

Kjell would probably like to have a jug in the lift car as well.
He's a big coffee drinker;-) But for now, we're going with
our little perculator. Good luck with your new purchase :)

Nice to have good coffee even in the motorhome. In the cottage and at home we brew strong coffee and I whisk hot milk and pour it in.

Inga-Lill and Arne Gustafsson says:
Inga-Lill only drinks tea and Arne pressurised coffee, so we boil a pan of water that is enough for both tea and coffee. That way we are both satisfied! Bought a 12 volt coffee maker a couple of years ago, used it twice. Completely useless!!!

Across the board says:
We have a kettle with us and usually brew a pot of presso coffee. Sometimes it's instant coffee powder. But I would love to have a built-in brewer with an epresso function. I saw one at the Elmia fair last autumn, built into one of Dethleff's motorhomes.

Thanks for all the comments! It's great to read about how everyone solves the coffee issue - there seem to be many ways! We will return when we have installed ours and seen how it works.

we boiled water, poured it over the powder and let it drip/run into the jug. Old-fashioned coffee 🙂 .

Hi! We have a regular coffee maker and brew regular coffee, just like at home. Sometimes I take my milk warmer/whisk with me and make my own latte. If we are without power, we can still use the brewer but boil water on the stove. Works great!
