Now we have position lights on the roof rack of the motorhome. Peter has done some work on the motorhome in recent days, and one of the things he has done is to install new position lights on the sides. He has mounted the new lights on the roof rack brackets, three on each side.
Installing position lights on the roof rack
Peter drilled holes in the roof rack to run the cables through, and then he screwed the six lights to the roof rack, three on each side. The new position lights are now on all six brackets of the roof rack. "We already had extra position lights at the bottom, five on each side instead of the two that were there originally. Now we also have lighting at the top.
It is actually far too cold to make a motorhome right now and your hands get frozen after a while, but Peter is far too keen on the lights to wait for a better season. "At least now we can be seen even better in the dark than before. And it will be nice to roll out the motorhome this spring!
Position lights that we installed before
The position lights that we installed before are located at the bottom, along the long sides of the car. There were five new orange lights on each side, instead of the two that were there before. The job was a bit tricky and took a good while (in an uncomfortable working position), but it was good when it was done!
