Annelie-Singapore says:
Would probably like to put Singapore, at number 1. Have been to all the cities ranked above. We say about Singapore that it is like being in a "Saftey Box". The feeling you feel can hardly be described if you have not been here and experienced. Right now I am in little HUskvarna and here they warn you that you will be beaten and robbed when you get off the bus in the evening and walk home a few metres in the middle of the city. In Singapore, you can go out and walk in a park when it's dark without feeling any discomfort, but you hardly do that in Stockholm or in little Huskvarna.

Ugh, Iran and Iraq I can do without!!! I think I avoid the latter places ie the "more risky" but it is clear that you should always be vigilant no matter where you are. Common sense simply.

I think I'll pass on all the cities on the unsafe list.
Funny thing about Sthlm. But good, I guess...
Maybe I didn't think it would make the top 10 list, but...

Lennart's thoughts says:
In the early 90's I spent two weeks in Japan. The week we stayed in Tokyo, we practised, as we had been told, leaving our wallet on the pavement outside the hotel. It was still there the next day. Unbelievable!

Annelie, how cool that it feels so safe in Singapore! I feel pretty safe in most places in Stockholm, but of course there are empty and dark areas at night where it doesn't feel so fun.
Ninni, no, I can probably imagine skipping those too. You have to take some risks when travelling, but the most unsafe places can be unsuitable...?
Annika, no, I don't know exactly what is required, but it feels pretty safe here anyway...
Lennart, that sounds fascinating! It wouldn't work in Stockholm. However, when I lived in Iceland, everyone left the front door open even though they were not at home. But that was not in Reykjavik, but a smaller place....
