This weekend we are busy renovating and painting at home. Most people get bigger and bigger homes. We plan to do just the opposite: get smaller and smaller. With the motorhome, we've discovered that it's nice to live small. Less stuff = more freedom.
Renovate to sell
We are going to sell this apartment and get a smaller one. That's why we've started to tidy up and freshen up with new white paint in some places. Right now we are fixing Billie's bedroom. If you want to see more of our apartment, you can check out here.

Definitely a different decor in your apartment, I get a little "Las Vegas feeling" when I look around.
Should be good to sell down there in the capital 🙂 .

Considering that Peter is so talented, there shouldn't be any difficulty in selling that apartment. It really shows that you like design and carpentry! Good luck 🙂

Wow, what a nice painting! Yes, your painting was not so bad either.
😉
We think a small apartment is perfect! Besides, we know that you can just close the door and leave whenever you want to. We had it as a holiday apartment for three years before we moved down.

How nice! You'll have no problem selling that!
JAAA, we feel the same way, that it is nice with less! The motorhome gives such freedom too and if you are away with it a lot, it feels even more unnecessary to have a large house that is almost empty. Then it only takes a few more years for the kids to move out. Then you stand there with a big house unnecessarily! I think it is completely unnecessary to have maybe 150 sqm and use maybe two rooms and the rest just to keep clean and warm.
A dream is to live all year round in the motorhome later in life.

Wow, that was skilfully done! I prefer to paint flat details 😉 .
Smart move to smaller accommodation. Less costs and less hassle!

Henny, yes, we hope so! It's not quite "ordinary" this apartment, but there should be some people looking for something special....
😉
Across the board, thanks for the nice comments! Yes, we do appreciate design and crafts. Both to fix ourselves, but we have also thought it was fun with nice old furniture.
LeiaMia, yes it is easy to collect... Thank you!
Ama de casa, I'm doing my best... Sounds cosy with an apartment down in the heat! In addition, as well as closer to "everything" ...
Ninni, thank you! Yes, a big house also means a lot of work... Our dream is also to live in the motorhome, and it will happen!!!! Not quite yet though...
Helga, thank you! Yes, less costs are not to be despised! It means more freedom.

Oh fantastic, what talents he has! And you too 🙂
Do not think you have to wait for buyers, hope you have found your new home already, because it will probably go fast 🙂

Hello,
how nice to move to a smaller place - I understand you. It would be great if you want to showcase your renovation project on Byggla.se. If you are interested, I can offer a carrot. We also have a flooring and bathroom competition going on right now. Email me at vendelabyggla@gmail.com and I'll tell you more!
