It was a trip with the motorhome to Ängsö camping, which is located outside Västerås. The sun was looking out so it felt like spring. We got the first meal of the year outdoors and some nice hours out in the spring sun in the afternoon. Wonderful!
Nice campsite
meadow island campsite feels nice and is nicely located by the water. Right now there aren't many people here, but that's probably because it's early in the season. In fact, we didn't even find any staff when we arrived, but another camper told us that something had happened, so they will surely come back later. For now, we'll continue to just have a good time!

Ängsö is usually a good premiere campsite! We have been there several times, most recently last autumn. When it is low season, the owners want you to call BEFORE you arrive so they are prepared for the arrival, something I ALWAYS forget and therefore call when we are at the gate. And EVERY time she says that they have the lobster in the oven and had to cancel their dinner ........ Either they are doing a waltz or they eat lobster very often .... What do you think? 🙂

Roger, also Ängsö (even if it was fricamp)! And plans for the coming weekends we hear!
🙂
Ulrika, yes, it was an excellent and cosy campsite! Now it feels very sad to tell you that the owner apparently recently passed away. The owner was not on site when we were there, but campers who were there over the season did what they could to help with payment and keep order.
