We've fitted handrails to the motorhome. Of course, Peter didn't stop at installing guide rails at the back of the motorhome, but the front has also been given a facelift. Peter has installed both fog lights and LED lights in the grill. Now we will be visible in the dark!
Cable loops on the motorhome - at the front
More lighting for the campervan! Peter has put up red LED lights at the back of the campervan, which make us visible in the dark. You buy them ready-made with glue on them, so they were easy to put up.
What about what you see in the window at the back? Well, Peter has also bought a light sign, where we can write any text we want. The text then scrolls across the sign ... The sign can of course be moved around wherever you want, but it's mainly in our rear window in the motorhome. What do we write on it? FREEDOMTRAVEL of course!
Fog lights and LED lights at the front of the motorhome
For the past few days, Peter has been enjoying installing lights on the Freedom: two front fog lights and eight LED lights in the grill. A Fiat workshop helped to connect the fog lights, but the connection came loose the very next day ... Luckily, we got help from our super mechanic Roger, who has helped with most things regarding the Freedom. We can highly recommend car park in Kallhäll, who are used to dealing with motorhomes.
Then it was time to install the LED lights in the grill. We didn't need any help here, but Peter was able to mount them himself using screws and silicone. Now you can see us in the dark! The motorhome looks almost happy, as if it is smiling, when we have switched on all the lights.

Peter must have some sort of desire to be properly enlightened .... laughs..... (regardless, it's a good job).

Extra lighting is great, but you should also consider when you're approaching the point where it becomes too much. Especially when using different colours.

Across the board, we are always enlightened!

Krister, yes, we may be a bit un-Swedish there... However, it will be white in the front and red in the back, in accordance with the traffic rules. The more varied colours under the car will only be lit occasionally, when we have a bit of a "party feeling", and not when we are out driving...
😉
Henny, then maybe Peter will soon be satisfied...

Did Peter remove the lanterns on the campervan to be able to attach the guide strips to the lantern insert? Kjell is out and by the car and will also put led lighting under there. But I wanted to ask how you did it. Hope you can answer on my blog or via email. Do not want to miss your answer:)
