For us, and many others, the motorhome is mainly for leisure and holidays. However, we sometimes use it in my job, when I give lectures in different parts of the country. Then it can be convenient to have the house with you and not have to book a hotel, or get off the train with your breath in your throat. Others often use the motorhome for work.

Various motorhomes on assignment
Here are some camper vans on assignment, as captured by our mobile phone camera. Have you seen motorhomes used for jobs in other contexts?
TV van
TV4 used a camper van when reporting from Medborgarplatsen last summer.
Police van
The police sometimes use motorhomes, here at Stureplan on a Saturday night.

Seen about the same, but I think we will see many, many more in the future. I think that the use of motorhomes is growing with both more and different purposes.
But I think Freedom will stand the test of time even if it becomes commonplace - it is distinctive and pleasing to the eye 🙂.

My colleague used her camper van extensively during some summers to study fish behaviour in lakes very early in the morning. They started their experiments at about 4am and it was nice to be there already. There was plenty of room for all the equipment too!

Lena, that's right, I've also seen a blood donor van. But right now it's a big blogivar bus parked outside my work...
Johanna, that was an interesting way to use the motorhome! But it seems very practical!

I've seen the police van, but none of the others.You can probably think of many uses for a motorhome, because it's so practical to be able to arrive a little beforehand and then get ready in it!!!

Does anyone know if there are any rules about using a class 2 lorry for work? I have a larger bus that would fit perfectly in my work... would be used as a work vehicle along roads. Of course with all the equipment for the purpose....
