Bellmanstafetten is Sweden's largest relay race and takes place over two days in Stockholm, today and Saturday. Today there were over 2000 teams running, including my colleagues. This was a real party, and we even got to see a rainbow.
Bellman Relays 2012
Lots of different teams compete in the Bellman Relay, and many are groups of colleagues. At my work, a team was also formed. Did I run? No, I have low self-confidence when it comes to fitness and physical activity, and don't even want to think about slowing down or destroying a team. But I cheered and had a picnic!
There was a great atmosphere throughout the race, despite the terrible weather. But for a little while the sun actually came out, and we even got to see a nice rainbow!

The cheering and having a picnic sounded like a great alternative to running around in the rain to me.
