Tonight we had both sons and their girlfriends home for dinner, and before that we watched "Hobbit" at the cinema. For the pre-drink we served small cheese balls, which we tried to make from a recipe on the fine food blog Just one more cake.
Here's how we made the cheese balls
We mixed grated Västerbotten cheese (150 g) with grated pecorino (150 g) and ricotta (250 g) with a little salt and pepper. Then we made small balls and rolled them in toasted sesame seeds. According to the recipe, you should also roll them in chilli flakes and sandwich cress, but we skipped that. It was good, and they turned out quite nice! You can find the original recipe at Just one more cake.

Lennart, what a Christmas table... I'll probably have to pick out the ham and open the herring jar soon, I think....
