Thank you for all the nice comments about our apartment! We are very happy about that! Now that we have talked about all the work we put in, I came to think about what it looked like from the beginning, and during the construction.
A former local
We bought a former premises, which on paper was re-registered as an apartment. In reality, it was just a straight corridor, some office rooms with glass windows facing the corridor, a kitchen area with a trinket kitchen and a small toilet with a plastic mat. The ceiling height was extra low because there were large ventilation ducts and pipes in the ceiling.
We rebuilt everything
Need I say that we rebuilt everything? Floors, walls, ceilings... The only thing that remained was the load-bearing wall. Phew, it took a lot of adrenaline to make our apartment! And we became slim in the process ... Feel free to check out the pictures of our apartment when it was ready. Now we've had to do it again, because it proved difficult to sell it. So now we have a white apartment.

Herrejössus.....hope you had a lot of pleasure from your apartment and that you get paid well for all the work and effort you put in.....but it was nice anyway. Fortunately, you forget what has been hard and remember what is fun and good........
Good luck!

Frankie & Co, yes total makeover you could say!
😉
Maggan and Ingemar, yes, we painted over the marbling and colours, but the stucco remains. We hope that there will be buyers who like it!
JoY, haha, it can be good to compare sometimes... Even though minor renovations also involve work.
😉
Ulla & Torgny, it's a bit like that... It was an awful lot of work... yet we mostly remember the positive!

What a pain in the arse! That you even dared to think about trying.
But I understand better now that you are very "in love" with the great result you achieved. Like everyone else, I hope you get value for all the work.

Seniors Speculate, great to have someone keeping their fingers crossed!
🙂
Agneta, yes we have not been lazy... especially not at that time...
😉
Ma, thank you!!!
Henny, yes haha... we were probably a bit crazy. But it was the only way for us to afford such a large apartment, and since Peter can build, we thought it was worth it! And yes, you do have a little extra feeling after building every single centimetre...

Beate, thank you very much and good to hear! By the way, I understand if we may be a little confused showing so many apartment pictures, but so far all pictures are from the same apartment in Sumpan (which we first renovated from zero and then built and repainted). Soon we will start looking for something new, but we thought we would make sure to succeed in selling first ...
