Those of you who follow the blog know that we followed a training programme for 90 days. And now we're through the whole programme! Six workouts a week at home in front of the TV - no machines or weights, just your own body and resistance bands. So what was the result?
We actually thought we'd share some classic before/after pictures... We've both lost about 2kg and reduced our waist size by 3-5cm. But above all, we feel stronger and more flexible!
Completing the programme
It's been fun to try exercising like this and see that you can get results even though we are not young (52 and 38). Hopefully the exercise will help us to have more energy and feel healthier and more alert for longer!
Now that we are done with the programme, we will step down and "only" run five sessions a week. Pure holiday then ... haha. The sessions are tough and intense, and we still can't keep up with everything at the pace that they drive ...
Mr NilsÅ Hansson says:
This was tough. if you can do this fully, you're good to go.

Great job! I was inspired and checked out the films after a previous blog post. However, I felt that I would probably not complete/prioritise training six times a week, but it looks undeniably exciting. That's the thing about the motivation being there on a theoretical level... then so many other things come in between. 1000 jumps on the trampoline in the garden have become a few days this week and running today, so it feels like I'm on the move anyway. It is so wonderful to fall asleep tired in the body. In addition, it is wonderful to feel alert!

What results! Great job! I who have invested a lot in training and diet have also noticed that it feels more on the inside than it looks on the outside, have you felt the same? =)

NilsÅ Hansson, the day we can do it all, we'll feel super excited!
🙂
Angelica, thank you! We try to cheer ourselves up!

Johanna in Skåne, 1000 jumps didn't sound bad! (smiles) It sounds like you're doing pretty well! It's all about finding something that suits you. I easily get tired of running / jogging (although I like to do it sometimes for a change) and the gym is good, but takes more time. What suited us with this was that you could do it at home, plus we think the sessions are quite fun and varied. You can of course set up a programme yourself, and do the training less often than six days a week. During this period, it has worked quite well for us to train this often, but now we are stepping down a bit. Understand that it can be trickier to manage if you also have children at home. (However, saw some clips on Youtube with a mother driving while the child was lying next to her and "mimicking", looked pretty fun...) But as I said, as long as you find something you enjoy yourself! We were happy that we found this!
Emmy in Australia, that's often the case! And maybe it's even more important that it feels on the inside! Since we have been running so intensively, we have actually felt quite tired, but it feels like the energy comes gradually. We feel smoother and softer! Peter, who has a heavy job, also notices that he has less pain in his back now!

Wow. What an inspiration!
How long do these sessions last?
30 April 2013 - 11:55
admin says:
Hallin on Resia's blog, the passes are a little different in length (there are 12 different passes that you vary between) but they are about 45 minutes long. So a lot of training has been ...

Wow and wow!
Fantastic, and wonderful! Still proud of you 🙂
Keep up the good feeling, I agree with the feeling that it feels more inside and I like that as I myself train 4 times a week at least since New Year and do not intend to stop but vary and add instead 🙂 .

Frankie & Co, well done! Impressed by you driving yourself! But it's nice when you get into it, then you don't want to stop!

Frankie & Co says:
Yes, that's probably the case, I would have liked to have more company from the husband, but he doesn't sit still at his job either so he has a lot of corresponding training there, but it's insanely fun when we train cycling together 🙂.

Frankie & Co, great that you are training bikes together! Peter also has a physically demanding job, but over time it has also caused him a lot of pain in his back. It actually seems that the training has helped it really well!

The Tapout Man says:
Hello to all of you. What great results you got from the training, it really shows that you put your soul into it. I have recently started training Tapout XT myself and have been on your site a few times and been inspired (and know how hard the sessions are). Are you still training?

Tapoutgubben, good to hear someone else doing these sessions!!!! (And who understands how tough they are, haha.) Yes, we still train! But we have lowered the requirements a little, maybe not six days a week but at least four or five. We actually feel better now, so sad to lose it again... Quickly peeked into your blog, will soon go in and read some more.
🙂
