Now we have made it to Lysingsbadets camping, which is located just outside Västervik. This is an absolutely huge campsite with 900 campsites, cabins, restaurants, pool, gym and I don't know everything. Fortunately, Carina and Stefan, who we talked to through the blog, had come here before and recommended nice places by the water. So for us it was just to roll down and stand next to them.
Meeting motorhome friends
What fun it is to meet other motorhome drivers through blogging! We had contact with Carina and Stefan while we were on the Gamleby campingand decided to go over to Lysingsbadets camping, where they had their motorhome. It was about an hour's drive, and when we arrived there was a free spot waiting for us next to Carina and Stefan.
We really had a great afternoon and evening together! We started with a drink in the sun, before going for a walk to look around the campsite. In the picture below you can see us in the sunshine outside Stefan and Carina's motorhome.
Walk around Lysingsbadet campsite
We took a walk around the campsite with Carina and Stefan, and this place is really huge. Not everything is open yet, but during the summer there are restaurants, a shop, an arena where artists perform, a relaxation area, a floating sauna and a gym, adventure golf, pool and lots of different activities for children. Read more at the campsite's website.
There are also large natural areas, including nice rocky islands with bridges between them. We have some jackets on (except occasionally when the sun is strong), as it is a bit windy. But the kids are brave - they run around in swimming trunks!
Long and pleasant evening
After the walk we came back to our motorhomes. It was a long and pleasant evening with lots of talking and laughing, first at the outdoor furniture in the sun and then inside Carina and Stefan's motorhome.

As nice as possible out at lysingsbadet-we were there 09. I think we were standing in the place your friends are standing! However, it blew something crazy in these places near the sea 😮 Remember that we were walking between those small islands you see in the background, you come out a good bit "out on the sea"
