Yesterday we had a really good and luxurious barbecue dinner at the motorhome. We grilled lamb tenderloin which turned out super nice, and we also put boiled potatoes from the day before on the grill. Wow, how good it is!
Lamb tenderloin on the grill
Peter started by cooking lamb tenderloin on the grill. He puts a thermometer in the meat, so we know when it is 58 degrees. Then he takes it off the grill and puts it in foil for ten minutes. Then the meat is absolutely perfect! At least if you have been lucky enough to get a nice piece of meat.
Grilled new potatoes and salad
We also grilled cooked new potatoes from yesterday. We simply cut them in half and put them on the grill. Really good! Along with this, there was a luxurious salad of yellow pepper, cucumber, small tomatoes, avocado and sun-dried tomatoes. And then some hummus and feta cheese. Have you cooked anything good on the grill this weekend?

How good it looks! Really! We have a couple of small disposable barbecues with us, they take up little space in the boat and no charcoal is needed. (Small spaces in the boat...)
We do not have a refrigerator either because we have an outboard motor and it does not charge any electricity. But now we have arranged the solar panel so a freezer bag we will now be able to connect and take a little more variation on what is to be grilled.
Midsummer Eve, there was a little barbecue for the evening; various spicy sausages were made and the pasta salad that Helena suggested and strawberries afterwards. It was very good! And the herring, potatoes (without forgotten dill) cheese, eggs, meatballs, schnapps, beer and crispbread for lunch also tasted good.
Stay well!

Ditte, I understand that you have to think about space in a boat. You do that in a motorhome too, even though you have a lot of space. We also have a fridge, freezer, stove and oven, so it's quite comfortable! Sounds like you got a good midsummer meal in any case! Glad you tried the salad. Will probably be good with a solar panel. We have a solar panel on the roof and it probably helps, although it is a little difficult to know what is what. We also charge when we drive and have double batteries in the living room.

It looks good. My mum usually does the same with oxfile, let it get to about 58 degrees and then foil... very good.

Ninni, we've started using a thermometer almost all the time when making whole pieces of meat. A good way to know when it's ready!
