After we finished eating at Grodhavet at Pampas Marina, our friends took us on a bike ride past Hornsberg beach and Kristineberg beach. This area has really developed and become fantastically beautiful!
Hornsberg beach
Along Hornsberg's beach, there are now neatly rounded paving stones that follow the water, along with greenery and bathing jetties. Everywhere along the waterfront, people were picnicking with small block grills.
Feeling of being abroad
We continued up to Solstugan (read more here), which is located high up in Kristineberg overlooking the water, not far from Golf bars which we have passed occasionally. This was a really soft place! People of all ages sat here and listened to live bands. Either outside on the terrace, or inside under the yellow and pink sauna parasols. The feeling of being abroad was quickly established!

Realise that it is time to start with the season's bike tours in Stockholm. In the past years we have quite often visited Solstugan, but this spring we have had boat jobs. But the summer is long...
And we'll have time for the bike rides too.
I understand that you had a cosy evening.

Ditte, it's nice to have the summer ahead! Oh, so you've been there before? We did not know the place, but it was cosy and nice atmosphere there.
Inga Magnusson, nice to cycle in the summer! We don't cycle very often, but it's perfect for small excursions in the summer.
Katarina, Stockholm is showing its best side right now! Glad you ended up in Pampas, it's nice there.

Sure, it's nice there.
My sister and brother-in-law have a flat on Hornsbergs Strand with a view of Pampas and Solna. To die for!!!
OCh it really is so nice in those neighbourhoods now.
My sister sometimes takes an evening and morning swim right outside the house.
That's great.
The sun parlour is really an old classic. We often hung out there when I was younger. So cosy!

Annika, yes indeed! Super nice apartments! We looked directly at Hemnet, but of course it is quite expensive ...
