When we drove out of the Lysingsbadet campsite in Västervik, we found at last a car wash that can accommodate our motorhome. Most car washes are only 2.8 or 3.0 metres high and our motorhome is 3.1 metres high. We never know where to wash it. So we were happy when we saw Stanley's Powerwash in Västervik.

At Stanley's Powerwash, there was an extra high car wash with a maximum height of 3.5 metres. There was also a stand with a ladder, so you could reach the roof. Of course we took the opportunity to wash a motorhome!
Portable car wash?
Since we don't live in a villa, it's not easy to wash the car at home. How do the rest of you wash your motorhomes? Do you know of any other places like this where you can wash cars higher than three metres? Since we always have problems with this, we've also thought about buying a portable car wash, but it hasn't happened yet because we've been busy thinking about the houseboat.

Henny, yes, you think so... but this kind of washing is strangely scarce! Now we are home again and will pack for the move. On 1 August we move to the houseboat!
BP, yes, but it's typical that you have such a wash there... but we actually think we found such a large wash in Poland at some point. Can't remember if it was in Sopot or somewhere else.

We are lucky enough to live so we can wash it at home, ours is about 3.40 high so a ladder is needed even though NInni has long arms 😉.

Ninni, so good to be able to stand at home! We do have the motorhome outside the apartment, but you can't stand there and wash ...

As you know, Kjell has such a portable washing machine for the motorhome. It is perfect. He often uses it when we do not have access to laundry when we are on the road. You should buy at Clas O now. Because they have x-tra price 699 SEK instead of 1500 SEK. Then you have money left for the houseboat:-) We still live in a villa so we have no problems with the washing of the motorhome. It does not work as well when you live in an apartment or boat:-)

Then we found it on the Internet at another Clas Ohlson... and then it just hasn't happened... But you're absolutely right! Maybe we'll do something about it!
