Now we have packed almost everything, and now we are just waiting for Thursday to come so we can start the move to the houseboat. But guess what Peter hasn't packed yet? Well, his papers and colouring pencils. He is now sitting in the kitchen drawing the houseboat to get all the colours and details right. I promise the ideas are flowing!
The building permit application is ready
"After 14 hours at a stretch, we have probably got the drawings for the building permit in order. We want to do everything the right way, because there is also an increase in value in the future, if all the papers and construction documents are on the boat. We had one reader who thought we were just landlubbers and that we shouldn't be involved with houseboats and drawings. Positive guy ...?
The contract is signed
Today we have also signed the rental contract with Pampas Marinawhere the houseboat is located. We buy the boat, but we rent the berth, so there are two different contracts. Tomorrow morning there is a meeting with the seller at the estate agent, for payment and transfer of keys. And then the boat is ours!
We will go to the marina immediately after the purchase, together with the seller. He will show us some of the practicalities of the boat, which can be good to know, we guess. Then we rent a trailer and start moving stuff!
Wine on the computer
I myself am without a computer after spilling white wine on it... I quickly switched it off, turned it upside down and poured uncooked rice over the keyboard. But it still won't work, so now it's on service. So I'm without a blog computer now and trying to blog from my iPhone ...

I really understand that he must be scratching his head. All the pieces have to fall into place. Oh, oh how happy I am to avoid all that kind of thinking! 😉

How clever you are to be able to blog from your iPhone. I have made a couple of valiant attempts, but with very mediocre results. Got more pictures that were the same, plus I can't see the small text. Not even with glasses.
Nice to see what Peter draws and his solutions for the houseboat.

Veiken, haha yes he is thinking so it is "heard" in the whole apartment...
😉
Ditte, I use the "Blogpress" app to blog from my phone. Do you use it? It's easy to make posts, but there are many "subtleties" from the computer that I miss (or haven't realised).

Admiring Peter! F*n how good he is!!!! He really loves it there doesn't he!!!????
It is possible to blog from the iPhone, as long as it doesn't become a habit. You (and I) have even managed to get the "right" width of the photos. There are actually not many who do that;-)
Answer: We are in complete agreement as far as restaurants/eateries in Gdansk are concerned! The only place worth visiting in 2009 did not exist anymore... so....
Oh yes, holes in the wall and randomly selected little "pubs" on the side of the road. Oh the best burger - homemade, thick, porky with the best chips - we had in Gdynia at a place called the imaginatively named "Burger". Not since Hollywood (Florida) and Miami in 1990 have we had such a burger. Yummy. I wonder if I should blog about them - no, I don't think so. You don't want to brag;-)

BP, well Peter has endless energy and dedication when he puts his mind to it. He was a bit tired of rebuilding flats, but now it was a different, fun and challenging project!
😉
I'm much more comfortable blogging from the computer, but the iPhone is good for emergencies. I couldn't get big pictures at first, but eventually I figured out how to do it...
Lennart, of course it is! You need a little change and renewal sometimes!

Hi, saw that you had a link list with travel links. Runs a website about Thailand and it would be very fun if you wanted to add it to your link collection, provided you think it's up to par 🙂.
Greetings Erik
