Last spring, Peter's son Robin and his wife Alexandra went on a 10-day holiday to Las Vegas. They had a great experience and told us about all the great things over there: huge hotels with lots of shops and restaurants, gigantic swimming pools and huge breakfast buffets with rich cake tables.
The world's biggest DJs
They were probably most pleased that the world's biggest DJs (Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Avicii and others) seem to play there all the time. They promised to send some pictures that we could show here on the blog, but then something else came up ... but now we can finally show the pictures! Robin and Alexandra say hello and highly recommend a trip to Vegas.

Las Vegas yes... Ama has been there just recently. Her sister-in-law and brother-in-law "remarried" there after 25 years of marriage with Elvis as the officiant. Also, a friend of mine says that you can find the cheapest breakfast in the entire USA in Las Vegas.
Oh me who doesn't eat breakfast;-)

I would also like to go there but it will be in the future without children 🙂 Maybe an Elvis silver wedding in twenty years, haha!

BP, oh I am fascinated by people who don't eat breakfast. I myself wake up (way too) early every morning because I am so incredibly hungry.

Synne, haha yes it might be something

Great pictures! Really enticing! And Vegas is definitely tempting. We have been there both with and without children and have been very happy. But it will be a stop on the way. Taking a plane up to the Grand Canyon and flying over is fantastic, what views. You can also take the bus up there. We stayed a few nights and trekked down into the Canyon. Hard work, but an incredible experience. Casinos, world class shows, luxury hotels that are very cheap (you are expected to spend your money on gambling) cheap and usually good food etc. But we have found that 4-5 days have been enough. Good shopping too. Renting a car in LA and driving through the desert is like that. A lot of stone desert! But a car in vegas is necessary.
So if you're passing through, make a stop in Vegas and book show tickets well in advance from home.

Ditte, that sounds like an experience! The USA is a white spot on our map, but maybe we'll get there too!

Great pictures from our favourite city Las Vegas. A city that we can't get enough of. It contains so much more than gambling. There are endless possibilities in this city that is surrounded by some of the world's most beautiful nature.
