After the weekend's construction in the houseboat, you might want to see some results? We have, among other things, modernised the bathroom. The old sink was so narrow that it was difficult to reach to wash. We have now installed new bathroom furniture with a new sink and a new mixer tap. We also bought a new toilet seat.
Not easy to get everything straight
It was a bit tricky to get everything straight. Peter usually uses a spirit level, but it is not so easy when you are in a boat that is rocking all the time and where most things are already a bit crooked and windy ... In any case, we were very pleased!
Sometimes we have to pause
When Peter goes in for a construction project, he gets focused and works hard from the moment he wakes up in the morning until he goes to bed at night. "I help out, of course, although lighter tasks, such as painting and ground maintenance, usually fall to me. You've been so nice and reminded us that we need to take a break sometimes, so I thought I'd show you that we actually do. So here is a little break picture from yesterday afternoon ...

Laughter, spirit level and houseboat, it was fun! Hope you get it straight and nice anyway! Good luck and keep it up!

Even I, with my thumbs in the middle of my hands, realise that it is difficult to get it right with a spirit level on the lake. It turned out fine! But do not despair, the weather is still so nice so hope you take some breaks between jobs.

But of course a spirit level does not work on a boat!!! I've never thought about that, but that's how it is. I wonder how it was arranged in the past, because surely there was a clever solution? Fun to follow your remodelling of the houseboat and your new everyday life.

Great! Now I have read a little. Have a puppy so the time to read blogs is scarce. Fun to see pictures and follow your renovation of the houseboat
