There is nothing wrong with imagination when my husband is on the move. What is going on here then? Well, you might wonder ... Peter likes lighting and there are many places to light up a boat, not only the roof and walls but also various small nooks and crannies. We are currently in the process of replacing all the lights with LEDs to save energy.
Lamps that shine outwards
A while ago we put up new lights both in the wardrobe and along the walls of the big room on the lower deck. Now Peter is having fun putting up lights that shine outwards ...
In the camper van we have opted for red, but in the houseboat we will go for blue. In the picture you can see how Peter has set up a lamp that shines blue through a small round window. If you don't think it looks so nice yet, I can reassure you that it is not ready ...!
In store or online
We have bought most of the LED lights in stores, but there is also a lot of lighting available online, for example at Ljustema. LED spotlights may be a bit too bright (or?), but there are many other fun things like stripes and both indoor and outdoor lighting. I'll have a look around now ...

It's exciting to use different types of lighting. A room can really change. Elisabeth

I also like lighting and I don't want to walk in the dark.Of course, it should be visible where you live. And that someone lives there.

The LED lights should be fine. Nice and you save energy in the bargain. We will also change to LED in the boat, but that will be in the spring.
Great to see how it turns out when you are done. Know that you are good at getting it done.

I begin to understand why you are so fond of your Peter;-) The guy is great. I better stay far away from your houseboat - Peter is into the same things as me;-)

Steve, it will be obvious that we live here!
🙂
Ditte, we will of course show you as it is completed! LED is smart, not least because it saves energy.
BP, isn't he great? But I think you should come and visit the houseboat one day!
😉
