Fun with this list. We are also leaving soon... somewhere. We opted out of Dubai, where we have been before, and Oman, because we actually like a beer or wine with our food in a regular restaurant. We don't want to eat in big hotels where alcohol is served.
Gran Canaria or Cape Verde is the question for us... no easy question at all. The only thing we are really looking for is sun and long walks (except for food and drink then). To be continued.
PS. Of course I recognise you, but Peter looks much "fitter" and happier today and you look much tougher with short hair today;-) DS

Katta, the tickets are booked! That is, we have tickets to Manila, and we will be travelling with a backpack. But how we get on from Manila, or where... I have no idea...?
Marina, Sydney sounds interesting, but it's a bit far from here...
