Cision has made its annual ranking of travel blogs, and FREEDOMtravel got an honourable 2nd place. Very fun and encouraging! The blogs are ranked using a methodology based on links, relevance, how often the blog is updated, reader comments and sharing in social media, Twitter followers and Facebook likes.

Now you can check out Cision's travel blog ranking! When Cision did the same ranking last year, we actually received first place. The fact that we are one step further down this year is perhaps not surprising given that the competition has intensified, and is still fantastic.
Being ranked as number two among Sweden's travel blogs on Cision's list feels really honourable. Since the methodology is based on factors that show that readers are active and engaged, it feels extra fun. It simply shows that our hard work with this blog is paying off! The number of readers is increasing every month, and that is very, very gratifying. Feel free to read more about our blog.
First place went to ...
The first place among the travel blogs was deservedly awarded to the blog Mary of Rövarhamn. Linda and Ludvig, together with their children Lovis and Otto, set off from Sweden in their sailing boat a few years ago. Since then, we have been able to follow them on their fantastic journey around the world. We also had the privilege of meeting them in Malaysia last winter - read about it here. here.
